gotta start the series somewhere user. I've played all of them since the gamecube but global quarantine is a pretty perfect time to jump into a mindless comfy grinding game like AC

the first 3 days consist of nearly nothing. so unless you guys plan on time traveling you don't want this as a weekend game.

AC isn't "mindless" user. AC has 4 or 5 things you can do before progression entirely stops. Beyond catching insects and fish which is a menial side task, the game is about slow decoration of a town over weeks of time.

And that's all you do.

pre-ordered this game and doom eternal alongside a couple other games around the end of last month. new horizons and eternal are both yet to be shipped out. I'm gonna have to wait forever for it now thanks to corona scare, aren't I?

No the absolute worst case scenario is you go on a ventilator (complete hell) and live with permanent lung damage, straight up die, or end up spreading it to other people who might die, and that millions of other people have similar thinking as you do and end up spreading it everywhere.
