I liked it, but it doesn't change the fact that I think X is overrated as fuck. It's basically the game that marked the series' downfall and is basically proto XIII with it's linear game design and focus on cinematic bullshit. The characters are also retarded as fuck most of the time.

Don't get me wrong. The combat system is great, the world building is good and the OST is also really good. It's by no means a bad game, it's just overrated as fuck in the same vein that VII is. Both are babby's first for their respective platform.

The best final fantasy for me. Its easily one of the best games of all time for me. The battle system allowed for utilization of all party members since the story revolves around them all traveling together. The Narrative and twists(theres a few) are solid if youve managed to avoid spoilers. It also happens to have the best minigame in the series because they link it to the setting in an important way. Its arguably the best final fantasy.
