I'm glad P3P let you spend it instead with actual GOOD characters who are also your lover.

There's a much better game that deals with that particular theme actually, Caligula.
Written by the creator of Persona 1/2 and with soundtrack composed by the SMT composer from NES/SNES/PS1 days.
Also, if you ever play it, be mindful that the remaster of Caligula looks like shit and rapes the entire aesthetic, dialogue is also a bit neutered cause of NISA (the original is translated by Atlus, NISA didn't have rights to the script and translated remaster from scratch).
h8 remake
Gameplay and content wise the remake is objectively better in every way, shitload of QoL, a lot of new content and whatnot, but they completely RAPED the art style.
why did they make it brighter? is this the equivalent to the western BLOOM effect when they """remaster""" games?
Because the anime adaptation of the game was overly bright, contrast-less, washed out pile of shit.
Seriously.
I always thought Overdose looked kind of shitty and I didn't even know they changed the graphics. I prefer the newer UI but what the fuck were they thinking removing that noise filter and making it brighter?
>I prefer the newer UI
But it's unironically soulless and sterile, font is also much shittier.
>what the fuck were they thinking removing that noise filter
Apparently they saw people hating on noise filter in Persona 4 Golden and decided to remove it from remake of their own game.
Ehh, the battle result screen could go either way but the text boxes seem a bit clunky or amateurish in a way. Doesn't seem to fit the very clean and smooth artwork.
Not to say the new UI is perfect, I just think it works better.
>stays alive for a whole month just because he wanted to
???
Gonna have to disagree, original text boxes actually fit the art style perfect and retain the noise distortion motif which has plot significance, new ones are just... there. They're extremely generic with a generic, Arial-like font. I have no idea how can you prefer that sterile shit.
P4>P3>>>>>>>P5
You only like P3 so much because it was your first SMT
Actually it was my second SMT
Which was the first?
P4 was my first SMT and it's my least favorite of the nu-personas though
None of those are SMT
>original is exclusive to VITA
Is there any mod to unfuck Overdose's shit up or am I tied until we get a decent emulator?
You could probably use ReShade to tweak saturation and contrast but it will never bring back the actual UI, textures and lighting from Vita.
KAZE NO KOE
It's spin-offs
Persona 5
Then 3
Then 4
Then Nocturne
Which Nocturne? There's two.
Dante and Raidou versions.
I suppose I can't prove it but after P5 released I'd played P4 in June, P3 in July, and then P5 in August.
P4 was just kind of middle of the road for me. Not the best gameplay, not the worst. Not the best story, not the worst. My least favorite cast of characters too.
Fuck yourself tripcode faggot
Shit taste
Dante
Play Raidou one, it's rebalanced, harder and Lucifer has extra move.
Also enemy tactics actively fuck with you if you've played Dante one before, because it's designed to fuck with your existing metaknowledge.
overdose isn't "neutered," it has more content than the original. iirc, the original version's dialogue was also left intact and nisa only translated the new dialogue.
the vita version's aesthetic is marginally better, but its framerate is a disaster. and i can't imagine playing it without the musician route just for the sake of graphicsfagging.
No fucking way P4 cast is worse than P5 cast, 5 has the most cliched anime soulless npcs i've ever seen in Jrpgs, come the fuck on now.
I liked how in P3 your party members didn't suck off your dick from the start.
Way to be a literal fucking retard and not only NOT read the post you're replying to but also spew factually incorrect shit because the screenshots alone prove that NISA did not reuse translation as evident with dialogue differences in screenshots, fucking die.
>but its framerate is a disaster
Completely fixed with PSVshell, game runs at underclocked CPU for battery conservation, running at full CPU clock results in locked 30 FPS.
The only thing Overdose does is rape the artstyle but everything from the new story and functional gameplay is better
Already stated learn to read.
>completely fixed if you hack your console, bro!
meanwhile, overdose just works on pc/ps4 while having more content.
>ignoring 90% of the post again and making up your own narrative
Fuck you
The artstyle being bad is not enough to play a literal slideshow
Did they even let on that he was dying? I remember thinking oh he's just sleepy after a tough boss.
>25 FPS on average without hacked Vita is a slideshow
lol
>NOOOOOO I WANT TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH MY VIRTUAL FRIENDS IN THIS MADE UP TOWN JUST LIKE MY ANIMES
Didn't even vitatards poop on this game?
>25 FPS on average
Actual delusion. That shit drops to 10 during battles. It's fucking unplayable. I have no idea why you are trying to pretend this game is good.
The game is very good outside of learning the backstories for the villains in Overdose
I just found the characters in P4 kind of boring to be honest. I liked Dojima, Nanako, and Adachi, but I don't have any particular attachment to anyone otherwise. Also outright dislike Yosuke and now cannot stand his eng VA as a result.
>"Everyone says the remake has bad graphics
It' can't be THAT ba-"
isn't*
The only thing bad about it, Vita-wise, is the framerate unless you have hacked Vita.
The only thing bad about it, remake-wise, is the visuals which are washded out cancer.
In terms of writing it's really good and deals with the subject of escapism much better than Persona 5 Royal's new content for example.
There's a better comparison posted literally just under the post you replied to
Didn't the first thing or last thing he mentions about some disease that was killing him?
the musician route unironically made it one of my favorite jrpgs ever. i liked going through the social links with the musicians and going on missions with them. i ended up siding with the go-home club for the good ending, but i preferred the musicians as a group. more games should do this.
Oh I meant MC, not that guy at the shrine.
