Kushala in any form was a mistake.

Can Enraged Guard in GU only block things you can normally block with lance? Is it affected by Guard Up?

>take wind resistance
>fight is a joke

>Kushala flies
>Use IG to catch up with it
>It just flies higher, clips into the scenery and then instant repositions and homing claws me

Don't bully Kush and it won't tornado you to death.

zenith monsters are fucking dumb

LS or GS?
and why?

Wrong, THIS is the fan favorite monster we've been all looking forward to

LS, because im a dirty fucking weeb, and pulling of iai slashes feels nice.

Yeah, but they were really damn good fights.

did GS all the way through vanilla. dropped it after getting assmangled by lunastra.

picked up LS for IB and havent looked back. more fun for me anyway.

>Jagras, Wulgs, Shamos, Aptonoth and Apceros in all maps are now replaced by Bullfangos
>Every time a monster roars in MR there's a 66% chance it will summon an Archtempered Bulldrome
>Now their charge has a homing trajectory instead of being a straight line
>Charges also have 90% stun values on hit
>This also bypasses stun resistances

so when does safi drop on pc

LS.
it was the final evolution of some Great Swords in the old games.

Bullfangos are getting subspecies for every region now
They will be placed in the areas that don't have small aggressive animals yet
Hope you're looking forward to getting knocked around wherever you go! It's the true Monster Hunter experience World's been lacking up until now

bulldrome with an actual moveset would be great

>yfw Bulldrome gets buffed to T3 level and gains Turf Wars with Rajang, Deviljho and Bazelgeuse

Honestly, I'm baffled that we still didn't get a honest to god scythe weapon type given that trend of creating new weapon types from old weapon skins.

It had one in Frontier, same with the dromes. Shit was great.

>the chad sneeze

Heeeh, not really. They got one or two more attack but they were still fairly boring.

Cephadrome was a huge improvement though.

Yeah, but that's like 2-3 times more attacks than they used to have. The dromes breaking their falls was a great addition and helped me realize hunters could do that as well once they hit G rank. They were still pretty boring, but I enjoyed fighting them more than the mainline ones.

>tfw no pinecone turf war between Bagel and Steve

Oh yeah fighting them for the first time was great, but when you're doing the hunter guide farm you realize they're still meh. They definitively were improved tho.

if Raging Brachydios and Seething Bazelgeuse don't turf war, I'll enjoy the game anyway, but from time to time will think on what a wasted chance it was

GS because the concept of getting fucked over because the monster missed you somehow triggers me.

I got bored with GS after like 5 years but I still enjoy LS.

If it comes today it won't in like 2 hours. Else about 26 hours.

Anyone tried blast GS? share you thoughts, especially on weapons.

You ever swing an axe so hard it warps the fabric of space itself?

>rusted kushala
>fan favorite
Give me Khezu

You mean it's still a boring, horrible mess that wasn't playtested since you have to watch him fly around without being able to do anything 50% the time.

It was playtested.
As sticky.
Perfect if super easy fight.

Stickies don't do a lot of damage if you don't have a whole team eocnomizing on the KOs. And playing ranged is boring in general.

Kushala was a fine fight when poison actually disabled the wind. It also encouraged weapon variety instead of just MAX RAW ALWAYS GOOD. World fucked it up.

The fight is less than ten minutes and kushala spends most of the fight rolling around on the floor because of constant KOs.

Velkhana and Kushala couples!

post songs that would be perfect in MH, preferably for a specific monster
this would be great for chameleos

So by this logic
>??? for Ancient Forest
>Teostra/Lunastra for Wildspire Waste
>Namielle and Kirin for Coral Highlands
>Vaal Hazak for Rotten Vale
>Nergigante and Kushala Daora for Elder's Recess
>Velkhana for Hoarfrost Reach
>Safi'jiva for the Guiding Lands

WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GIVE MHW THE MOST IMPORTANT UPDATE THAT IT FUCKING NEEDS?

THE ABILITY TO SKIP CUTSCENES AND JOIN OTHERS ASSIGNED QUESTS BEFORE THE CUTSCENE?

LITERALLY FORCING A 10/10 GAME INTO AN 8/10.

Attached: 1554003678696.png (911x585, 780.89K)

Yama Tsukami for ancient forest

Kushala should technically be in the Ancient Forest given the original opening from Dos, and in fact there are quests where it appears there, Elder's Recess is kind of a neutral zone, outside of maybe for Nergi since it's the only place we can tie it to.

>Kushala
>Not Hoarfrost
theres literally a kushala husk there tho

velkhana feels like an updated semi-clone of kushala. adding kushala with ice breath would make it too obvious they phoned in the boxmon.

Kushala has ice resistance in it's armor too.

>velkhana feels like an updated semi-clone of kushala.
Not really, completely different fight outside of the skeleton.
Alatreon on the other hand...

in terms of moveset, yeah, but design and behavior is very similar to kushala. like I said, velk is what kushala would be if it was created from scratch today. if kushala appeared in an ice area in vanilla world with velk's moveset (maybe throw in some wind) I don't think anyone would question it.

Literally never so stop crying about it.

>windproof five does jack shit versus kush wind aura
>have to have its own set to deal with it
i'd fight velk over kush any fuckin day

If its not Gore Magala I'm gonna be fucking pissed.

Literally never because people like you just accept terrible flaws like unskippable cutscenes while also trying to silence those who criticize it. You're part of the problem. This shit is just as bad as ugly weapon designs, I guess people just don't care because they don't have actual friends that they would like to help get through the main story.

Attached: 1582243567690.jpg (652x720, 82.28K)

exactly. kushala should've gotten the velk treatment instead of bringing both forward. other returning monsters suffer from being locked into their classic movesets too. I adore the older games and play them more than world, but the jump to gen 5 should've been an opportunity to completely reimagine how these monsters fight. imagine if they brought back chameleos, only to have the same moveset as gen 1.

It’s Fatalis

>thinking they will release aids dragon during a pandemic

Attached: 1584478520794.jpg (960x720, 129.76K)

I don't like the unskippable cutscenes, crying in Yas Forums isn't going to make Capcom let you skip them, go firebomb their HQ or something.

The same can be said for every fucking elder dragon.

It's seltas queen.

Interview says that Kushala Daoras only go to cold environments to molt, their natural habitat isn't intended to be there. Likewise Velkhana goes to a volcanic environment to molt, while its actual habitat is cold.

Bing

>the jump to gen 5 should've been an opportunity to completely reimagine how these monsters fight.
No sense in completely remaking a monster from the ground up after five generations of games just for the sake of it, and that would also give us more Lunastras so people would bitch double the amount they normally would.
>only to have the same moveset as gen 1.
But Chameleos is Gen 2?

>most important update
>story mode related
