It really was the best way to play multiplats, most notably Splinter Cell games. Everything just looked better and at the time it was a lot easier to get your hands on HD component cables for the Xbox than it was for PS2 or gamecube.
On top of that, almost every Xbox game supported at least 480p output, while most PS2 and Gamecube games did not. So it looked a lot smoother. Truly the best way to play multiplats.
Unfortunately I missed out on a lot of really good things like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, and Metal Gear Solid 3. I just wasn't a fan of the Xbox exclusives. Halo was alright but I never got too excited for it.

Switch managed just fine, but I think xbox lost as soon as they marketed always on, no sharing your games guys, shit they pulled before launch.
