what is you're least favorite genre?

minorities

I want to buy more figures but society is literally collapsing

Jrpgs

rap

Fighting games. I've never had a problem winning by just spamming shit, even randomly. It's fucking boring.

weebshit and VNs

My last figure arival before quarantine was 1000toys Dante.

R8 my potential last purchase.

Chore simulators
Stardew valley, animal crossing, rune factory, farm simulator, etc
I dont get how people like them.

soulslike

Western RPGs
Combat and gameplay usually feel awful to me since I didn't learn the genre early on so I tend to hate them

Probably horror

Probably fighting games, I can appreciate how complex it can get at higher levels but I just find the general concept to be boring

Wrpgs. The only one I've played to completion was Deus Ex. I just hate the aesthetic that 90% of them use and generally they lack good music too

I dont know why most western games are just so ugly

Turn Based anything.

Platformers. Most of them are boring and stale to me. I make exceptions for megamans and sanic though.

Stardew yes
Animal Crossing no
>Stardew practically punishes you for not autistically worrying about every minute of each day, meticulous planning is needed to ensure you reach the goals the game apparently wants you to do
>Animal Crossing is just friend sim, you don't *have* to collect anything even though that is the entire point.

moba, cant stand how boring it is, even VNs are more entertaining

>waaahh I'm a weeb fag who can only handle samey looking boys and girls in my RPGs

simulation

Turn-based JRPG's

fighting games. the majority of them are like trying to remember cheat codes with their 16-input strings

"Open world" is the fucking worst. There's never shit to do despite all that time and energy wasted on making such "beautiful" looking landscapes and giving you the option to be in such a world in the first place. BotW2 is going to be garbage because why make one *good* product when you can have people shill out anyway.

It's why MM and OoT are also shit, they're the same game, Nintendo was too stupid to actually make one good product.

tacticool FPS
ruined the FPS genre and now every shooter is corridor monitoring crouch walking camping simulator that discourages moving while shooting

RTS and Grand Strategy, I'm just too brainlet for them
Open World's a close second

The one I play the most. Fighting games. Fuck fighting games. Seriously

fighting games because i suck at them and they make me mad

Pixelshit platformer

i think it's got to be the plain turn-based rpgs
call me cliche but ultimately i just lose interest when the only thing driving battles is "press a to make number to down" which is why despite calling it my least favorite i still enjoy shit with more active gameplay in the battles like the mario rpgs and undertale/deltarune

BAKA scrubs never change.

Visual Novels. Shit's boring.

Licensed sports games. All the money of the league, with all of the no-fun that comes with it!

this

sports shit

Funnily enough that's exactly how I feel about JRPGs, specifically in the vein of Final Fantasy games. Never played FFVII as a child so I can't get into it now.
But I played the remake demo and holy fuck it's good.

Sports

I want to like them but they tend to take way too fucking long to get moving, since every time a new character pops up, the protagonist has an inner monologue telling you about every single moment he's spend with that character since they met 10 years ago.

> you're

Party games or whatever they're called. Those games that are just a string of minigames.

Le epic movie games
True fighting games
Sports games
Visual novels
Mobas

Real time strategy.

Mad cuz bad

>Movie games, or whatever they're called.
Think Until Dawn, but I actually enjoyed that for the drama. I like being able to freely move my character and interact with the world and these games are pretty much the antithesis of that.
>Platformer/Metroidvania whatever
Just slow, clunky, and not what I look for in a game
Everything else besides what I actually enjoy I'm neutral on.

brainlets who can't handle fighters.

ASSFAGGOTS by far
But I wish I could actually play them because my friends play fuckloads of DotA
I guess Fighting games are the games I like the least while having no wish to get better at them; I don't think they look bad though. Just not my cup of tea.

RTS

turn-based games.
They're so goddamn slow.

>butthurt his genre is one of the most disliked

Racing games that aren't trying to be fun.
Kart racers are fine, but forza and other car masturbation games do nothing for me.

This except the open world part because that's not even a fucking genre.

I'm more calling you out because my genre is the most challenging to get into bar none and you're simply a brainlet who can't handle it. Cope more, seethe or get better.

The only one I can choke down is Paper Mario TTYD.
I say "choke down" but it's my favorite GameCube game, hands down. It's fantastic.
What makes the combat good is that the turns are pretty quickly paced and you've got a little bit of control even outside of your turn. You're involved the whole time.
Very few turn-based games do that.

Musou. It legitimately makes me angry that there are people who enjoy that shit.

Autists who've practiced the intricacies of fighters aren't smart, they just have a lot of time on their hands.

zoomer here, i hate wrpgs, crpgs and arena shooters, i think they are boring af.

Attached: 648px-Roxas_KHIII.png (648x599, 196.84K)

it isn't fun
I'm glad you like it

Fighting games and whatever the fuck Metroid-esque games are.

FPS.

Eat shit and die, autist. "More challenging" my ass, if you have shit reflexes and coordination from the get go, you're fucked.

>Metroid-esque
Metroidvania is the word.
I love the idea of these but I can never stick with them for some reason. I've only ever gotten through Metroid Fusion and AM2R. Couldn't get into anything else under the term.

Kind of the same here but for me it's because they all seem like the same shit to me. They're all just games where two guys fight on a flat 2D plane. All the stages are the exact same with the only difference being the background and generally the only difference in terms of gameplay are the command inputs.
The only games in the genre I can think of that do anything different is Super Smash Brothers and Absolver.

sports
those are so fucking boring even when playing with friends

I don't like fighting games because I can't be bothered to get gud. I have respect for people who play them a lot though.

>"I'm so much smarter than people who take the time to think critically, plan and strategize."
Cope

2d indie platformers

The "its shit on purpose xD" genre: goat/bear simulator, bubsy and shaq-fu revivals, yoko taro games

sports games, jrpgs, and metroidlovanias are the worst change my mind

Attached: 1584487356261.jpg (986x1024, 50.28K)

I call that genre "youtube bait" games. Just cash cows for streamers and let'splayers.

mobafags are smarter than you cucks

forgot this "genre", agreed

The fucking retards who make those games have yet to realise that being aware that you've made a pile of shit doesn't make it any less of a pile of shit.

sports, RTS
