I do but it's a boring default black version. Wish I had the neon orange colorway.

why should I?

I sure love ugly ass blobs when the screen goes black! Thanks for having me fall for the oled meme.

I was going to get one when i went back to japan in october but fuuuuuck that. I will probably just order one online now. Which sucks cause i could have gotten one dirt cheap in akihabara or some shit

Attached: IMG_0382.jpg (480x385, 17.56K)

I used too, unfortunately i dropped it and cracked the screen a few days after i got my orange 2000.

I wanna get one. Is it still the best handheld for emulation or should I just upgrade my phone instead

I have the FAT and it's the best handheld ever made as far design goes.

I have a 1k but I don't like it very much because I find it heavy and I got a really blotchy screen. Also the bumpers don't work very well on it.

I got a 2k and never looked back, OLED is a meme. The only thing 1ks have going for them is the glittery plastic they used for the non black/white versions. They always looked so pretty, shame they never brought any of them over it to the west.

that's your reflection, user...

Yes but the battery life on it went to shit and I am not placing my faith in chink products

>proprietary data/charging port
>display that can get burn-in
No fuggin thanks, my roommate recently got a fat vita and after comparing my vita to theirs I'm glad I got the slim, OLED colors ain't worth it

I do, actually. Got it bundled with Lego Batman 2 for Christmas, when it came out. Is there something special about it? Honestly, I have no idea. I just play Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Project Diva games. Also imported Miracle Girls Festival so I could play the YuruYuri songs that were on it.

The LCD has a problem with the fact most games are made for the OLED and lack the option to compensate for it on the LCD version. Some games have it like God Eater 2 tho.

I used to. But Vita overall cramped my hands with its small button layout.

I'm not talking about your Vita I'm talking about everyone who owns a 1000 you retard.
gamespot.com/forums/playstation-nation-1000002/who-have-burn-ins-on-their-vita-screen-29433890/

Have mine since launch and it has no burn in, for now.

Yes actually

Yup. I've been having fun with it the moment I modded it and inserted a micro SD card reader.
It's a shame that Sony didn't cared for it. It's got a decent potential.

Of course. I know moon, too, so I get to play those neat Japanese games on that sexy OLED.

I do, it just feels like shit to hold. I'm glad there weren't many games on it, I must've gone through half a dozen grips and none of them helped much.

No, I have a 1100 version. I think that's the 3G edition? I dunno, it was all they had.
I wanted a blue one. The japs sell them for cheap, sometimes, depending on how bad you want one. Check yahoo japan.

Why would I want the inferior Vita version?

I got mine around launch (whenever AT&T liquidated their stock) and put a lot of hours on it. No burn in but when the screen goes black, I see spots now where it’s just less black. Gonna buy a new 2000 here soon off amazon as a back up.

Why would you want it when the 2000 is objectively better

>Owning a shita
Yikes!

Yes, cosmic red.
It's pretty and useless.

Yes, which I just used to finish MoD/MoT. Now it's going back into the closet until next month.

Attached: 2020-02-27-180645.png (960x544, 691.63K)

Yeah. I wanted a slim 2000 aqua model but the LCD screen is the only thing holding me back.

I do, I thought it would be fun to play some Darkest Dungeon on-the-go, but fuck the control scheme is awful. Then i installed Soul Sacrifice and never played it

Attached: 1575776525561.png (800x600, 67.45K)

It's a 1001 Glacier White model. It beats the shit out of the generic black color

>MoD/MoT
How are they?

i played all 3 in pretty quick succession and was a little put off by how many more anime tropes 2 and 3 had at first, but i ended up liking them more. I would definitely go for it if youre on the fence. make sure you play 1 first though.

Yes, slim is for faggots.

I revisited Soul Sacrifice last year, boy did I have a blast. Shame it has little appeal after you're done with the story line, the game gets too repetitive. So i just went back to monster hunter

Play it user, it's a beautiful story coupled with unique and highly customizeable gameplay.

Which version is the best one for the first game?

there is a ethernet periphrieal that only works with the fat on a experimental OS but aside from that idk why you wouldnt get a slim and then a fat later on for multiplayer.

Thinking about booting back up during quarantine and installing the latest version of retroarch and pkgj
Any essential apps/plugins/games I should download while I'm at it?

I do indeed

i played the pc version since the remake of it isnt out in english yet

Yes. In black.

Thank you.

no prob
have fun, those 3 were a wild ride

Give me a good reason why I shouldn't buy a slim besides muh OLED which has a bunch of black splotches by now.

>MoD/MoT
What games are these?

Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth

2nd and 3rd game in the Utawarerumono series

I have a PSTV lying around somewhere...

Attached: 1409170568744.jpg (400x387, 14.52K)

Yeah but I haven't touched it for a couple of years. What's the safe firmware for modding now?

all of them i think
vita.hacks.guide/

Pretty great, but only if you like anime.

Attached: Brap of Truth.jpg (1632x2880, 2.98M)

I do. Just replaced the screen recently, it's only $12 for the whole assembly.
Then back into the drawer it goes.

i own both because i like choice

wtf

I do.
I have a muramasa LE sticker+screen protector on it. I have p4g and muramasa physical. I had killzone but got rid of it. It's a pretty fun game but the fucking size of it. Plus the multiplayer finally died out, lasted good until like 2018.

No, I bought a new Light Blue Slim from Hong Kong years ago
Does anyone else have the issue of their SD2Vita like turning off after a few hours of use? I think my adapter is failing or something so I ordered a new one

Attached: 2020-02-15-161756.png (960x544, 780.22K)

Music Premium (allows you to listen to music in the background of any game)
PSVshell (overclock plugin that isn't as glitchy as lolicon)

No, I have the superior slim version.
No OLED is definitely a shame, but the slim's screen is more than fine, and it has so many nice QoL improvements over the 1000

my OLED is stillgoing strong, 1000 is really based

>still have vita games sealed in plastic wrapper in their cases
>only used the thing to play VLR and imported Digimon before shelving it indefinitely

Attached: hotdogcat.jpg (640x566, 47.82K)

You reminded me that I got this new for like US$30 while traveling lol

Attached: 1570063712739.png (1765x993, 3.01M)

For me, it's PSP3000.

Two actually.

I did on launch. I got the fucking prerelease version with 5g for $400. It was a piece of shit
>b... but muh OLED!
Yeah it had OLED but the splotchy blacks actually made it unusable in the dark. You know, the primary benefit of OLED...

Fuck the Vita, but especially fuck the OLED vita. I'd rather take the thinner, lighter, more pocketable slim with an IPS screen than the original fat model with broken splotchy blacks.

Attached: file.png (750x499, 242.35K)

>splotchy blacks
oh it isn't just mine then
good to know.
I'd still take those over the piss-colored LCD of the slim frankly. The vita got a shit deal all round.

>The multiplayer finally died out

Don't lie, the MP is still somewhat active which is saying a lot considering how old it is and being on Vita

looking at it makes me wonder how it got like that. Did something scrape the screen during manufacturing? Did bubbles get into it somehow? Mine does it too by the way, so you're not alone.
