A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON

>A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON...

Attached: beacon.jpg (820x669, 225.5K)

I'm not touching that

>carefully checks all end-dungeon chests to avoid it
Fuck that quest

tes 6 is never coming out is it

i'm going to start rubbing the beacon meridia

The reward sword is pretty cool, shame that's all it is
At least it's usable and looks better with mods

*rubs faster*

oh no another shitty sidequest i dont care about
>turns off skyrim and plays another game

remember mysticism?

>I've been looking for you. Got something I'm supposed to deliver - your hands only.
>Let's see here...
>I've got a letter and a lot of gold. Something about it being your inheritance? Oh, and... sorry for your loss.

Attached: courier.jpg (474x790, 48.59K)

>a lot of gold
>Gold (100) added

>not allowed to kill all these faggy "gods" even though I'm the special snowflake dragonborn
yaaawn

It is. Gonna have spears so it'll take more time to get it working.

TES6 WILL BE TRASH

The economy in Bethesda games have always been fucked.

>The virgin beacon avoider
>The chad desecrated corpse looter

Fuck Meridia
It's all about Sanguine (who is not a dremora)

Attached: 20200317143243_1.jpg (2560x1440, 1.29M)

100 gold is actually supposed to be a lot. Like a weeks wage for a typical villager working the 9-5.

*Keep rubbing*

>Kill a fucking dragon
>Excellent, you've done us a great service, here is your reward
>Gold (50) received
Thank fucking god for mods

Attached: 1582318869974.jpg (329x331, 10.85K)

Thats typical rpg bullshit tho
>Thank you for saving the entire world! Here is a weeks pay for a dungshuffler now fuck back off to your village.

what is it even supposed to be? a rock? a hunk of moonstone? It looks like someone tried to make a ducking icosahedron but had a fucking seizure

A super shiny stone, basically.

mfw ignoring the beacon when it appears in a chest again

Attached: hük.jpg (480x360, 18.27K)

shit rewards can be sensible if it's some shithole village scrapping together what little they have as thanks
it's when you get jewed by a guild or king that it becomes annoying

I hate that bethesda's games aren't as reactive as they should be. Why would my vampire character recieve this beacond and do Meridia's bidding? Meridia despises undead.

>touch the beacon
>get corona

Looks like an extremely angry dark elf

don't kick the beacon

Attached: a scaly hand touches the beacon.png (1920x1080, 3.78M)

at some point they adopted the newer philosophy that rpgs have been embracing
instead of rigid classifications with resulting consequences it's build your own oc with whatever story you want, any limitations must be player enforced instead

>a week's worth of wagie wages
What kind of fucking inheritance is that?

Best girl

The Requiem mod changes it so the beacon fucking vaporizes you if you're a vampire. Same with the Dawnblade.

It's weirder to get it from Lydia or someone you know should be in a position of greater wealth.

to be fair the explosion effect Dawnbreaker has WILL hurt you if you are a Vampire so maybe she's just playing 4D Chess here

>The Requiem
Fuck that mod. Too many changes, requires billions of compatibility patches. I dropped the game before i even finished installing the mods when i wanted to try requiem.

i like it this way better. limiting the player is stupid games are meant to be fun

I've always kept a pretty light modding experience because if I don't it becomes a rabbit hole of broken, ridiculous shit. Requiem is legitimately a pain in the ass to install, but the fact it changes so much is the advantage if you're looking for a new way to experience the game.

Games are also suppose to react to the way you chose to play. You shouldn't be able to get help from the diety that can't stand undead when you're undead. There's a character in the Ragged Flagon that can alter your looks but it can't if you're undead. That's a restriction because there's no proper reason for you to not be able to change your looks as a vampire.
But why does the game limits you this way, but doesn't limit you with Meridia just because a cool artifact you shouldn't be using if you're a vampire anyway.

you do know there's vampires who hunt vampires, right?

So? Meridia is a diety, she doesn't need to compromise with something she despises unless it's crucial. Clearing out one forgotten dungeon is hardy worth negotiating for with a vampire. Moreover the dawnbreaker should be harmful for you to even touch.

I don't think Merida really bothers trying to suss out good versus bad vampires, though. I'm pretty sure she just hates undead, full stop.

Soul trapping and ??????????????
t. chad breton spellsword

I'd read the mail too if I was expected to run through giants, mammoths, draugr, skeletons, falmer, vampires, spriggans, sabre toothed cats, wolves, dragons, horkers, bears and a civil war to deliver it.

the explosion does damage you if you're a vampire, but seeing as meridia doesnt care if you are or not, shes fine with you being an undead
Im pretty sure she just doesnt care in your case

She might not "be allowed" to care since you're the Dragonborn

>a new cock penentrates the beacon

Any lorefag here? Was Mehrunes Dagon an elf once?

She's not programmed to notice.

>spears
Prove it or I'll {spoiler] cry. [/spoiler]

A better question is, do you actually want it to come out?

teleport, absorb stuff, dispel, reflect. The most based school

Was the hand washed afterwards?

>easily waltz through the dungeon
>get one shot by double ice storms coming through the final door
Thanks Meridia!

>knowing what you're going to face

>don't prepare for it

>get killed

wow

>Frost spells don't do shit fuck all if you are casting them
>Meanwhile and an enemy casts them they will almost one shot you with 20% Magic Resistance + being a Nord
WHY

>{
lol

Dawnbreaker with the better shaped weapons mod that adds a crossguard is the best looking sword in the game, prove me wrong.

Attached: 1357671114688.jpg (383x373, 27.87K)

because legendary makes them deal 3x damage and your own only 0.25x

the number of times i've seen my character model laying on the ground full of ice spikes is staggering

i really did not enjoy the combat, stealth archer is literally the only 'fun' way without mods. everything else is a repetitive slog

>"finally finished Daedra's best friend, god that took forever but it's over no more getting side tracked by chasing artifacts"
>open the chest behind Vile's statue
>"A NEW HAND"
Fuck sakes man

Rude

kek

Even on Expert/Master it's like this. And it's also just seems to be Frost spells, like I can fry and zap people just fine, but I try Frost spells and it tickles. Meanwhile my Nord gets by an Ice Storm and it's light's out.

Post it then if youre so sure

I just picked that up yesterday when I was playing what a coincidence

Bethesda doesn't know how to make a fucking game, that's why
>have lightning spells drain enemy mana
>give enemy wizards 1 billion mana making it pointless
>enemy wizard spells scale in strength
>player? LOL GET FUCKED

>lore specifically mentions she has complete hateboner against every single undead, no exceptions, not even with people turned into vampires against their will
>she doesn't care
