What will yours be?
I'm deciding between 3 options
1. Merchant for the first couple generations then go on to liberate the Rhodoks from vlandia
2. Soldier for the Northern Empire, climb the ranks become emperor
3. Mercenary leader/bandit in the Aserai region, go on to establish my own kingdom on the southwest coast

Yeah read that shit, it's amazing. There's going to be government policies too and nobles die now so you can legally become ruler. Castles are customizable now to an extent, banditry is now realistic and fun, diplomacy exists, there are gangs and clans and minor factions as well
too bad you wont be able to be naked because of premade classes. Closest you can get is probably battania savage.
I think reuniting the Empire under one ruler is the ultimate playthrough.
I will also have to play a Kuzait now that there's effective horse archer AI.
The real trick will be to play it during the shaky first year of early access without getting burned out so much that I don't want to play it when it has the kingdom feature.
I'm going to lead a small band and protect peasants from banditry. Eventually I'm going to recruit more men and get strong enough to protect the peasantry from the nobility.
Will pirate and see if it's not too janky. If it's too janky I might have to go outside and find something to do with myself because there are no games coming out for like 5 months at least. If it's not too janky I'll learn how to mod the game and have fun doing that.
I never played Warband single player, only a couple times online. Is it actually good single player?
How feature complete will EA be?
People only like the games for the SP and the EA is a beta, it'll be buggy and incomplete for at least a year they say. Saves might even get wiped.

Warband singleplayer is immensely satisfying imo. Seeing your army grow into a deathball and then your main guy gaining political power in the realm is super cool

Can I serve in a nobles army at the beginning like in diplomacy? I always start my play through as a soldier until my stats are high enough to start easily winning tourneys, then I take the winnings to fund my first army
Merchant and fight my battles in a safe distance and let my men do the work.
