Just use the damn Tonfa and buy the demon dance skills, user. You do not need (or can even really get) a build until late game missions, and even then you can still get by without one.

Never get hit by ice odachi. He will cancel his combo into a grab.
It throws a rock but if you use it in a dark realm then it summons a little lightning bolt. The attack isn't great, lightning starts lightning status, but the passives are good and it's only 3 to attune so on low attunement guardians you can take it plus a big dick attack.
I played Nioh but don't know jack shit about this one and didn't even know it was already released. Did they make the enemy types more diverse? My only problem with the first game.

Yes. I feel like they more than doubled the amount of regular enemies from the base Nioh 1 and all of the returning ones have new attack(s). I feel like a lot of the reason why it feels like the variety is off is because enemies reappear throughout the whole game as opposed to appearing for an hour or two and then fucking off forever.
No clue, I dont have Katsuie and I dont really know why I had Koroku you might get him from a later main mission

There's literally no variety or interesting stuff. All you ever want on your weapon is damage increase effects. 99.9% of the loot is pure trash.

Holy shit if you apply Masterful Slice to moves like Sword Ki and Spear Shove you can absolutely demolish Ki.
Only just made it to the second area, been rolling with Tonfas and Kusa so far. They seem to compliment each other pretty well with Tonfas being fast with heavy ki breaking while Kusa, specifically high stance is heavy damage. Only enemy type that gives me major issues are the fucking snake women, since they constantly dodge away. I can beat them with patience but there has to be an easier way.
What do I do with yellow, blue and purple items? Offer to shrine or disassemble? Also what to do with weapons I have maxed familiarity before? Are these equipment for other special uses?

I feel you, man. I’m running a kusa build and they suck. I have a ton of ninjitsu points tho so if I know there is a lot of snake bitches I ready the lightning ninjitsu skill as they are weak to lightning or just chuck shurikens
