I can't deal with challenging games anymore. I'm old and jaded, I just want to sit back and relax with a nice game.

You deserve the rest and relaxation, kick back and just have fun
You earned it
YOU SUCK IT UP AND 1CC LEGACY OF THE LUNATIC KNINGDOM, user!
Are you trying to kill him.
Is this game comfy?
Touhou is not really my thing.
dumb aquaposter
Very much, has a Mario Sunshine set up, and teh whole game is a fun, cozy experience.
very much recommend it
Exactly. Why should I waste my time playing the same game over and over again when I could have fun, novel experiences or, God forbid, do something productive?
I unironically find DQ11S harder than almost any other JRPG I've played.
Maybe because I'm using Super Shypox, but the super low HP totals means your characters die really fast and there's plenty of chances for enemies to blow you up multiple times.
Everyone says it's easy, but it's much more challenging to me than any of the FF games, any of the Persona games, Nocturne or SMT4.
Challenge is unnecessary desu
I 1ccd some arcade games, it's more fun just chilling
define challenging or rather give some examples
play on easy, nobody cares
DQ8 fucked me up for the first several hours, they're pretty easy games overall so it tends to catch you off guard I think
I haven't Game Over'd yet, and I'm on Act3 so I'm doing okay. It's just that I'm having to put in far more effort and concentration than expected, especially in those 2D sections.
If you can't be bothered to challenge yourself then you can't do anything productive because you're literally training yourself to be useless.
Repetition is an element to learning and learning is why you play games, of which a side effect is fun because you overcame the challenges laid before you.
There is something to be said for some "difficulty" simply being bullshit (HP sponges that can one hit you aren't challenging, they're just garbage you might as well flip a coin over and over instead of playing since they often are beaten due to luck, not skill) but if ALL challenge is a turn off then you might as well just kill yourself because you're useful to no one, not even yourself. Especially if your desire is to be productive at something.
People act like games have nothing to offer but even beyond anything physical many of the practices you can learn from them can be applied to most anything.
Like how you shouldn't be a gacha gambling faggot or sticking to your guns about anti-consumer practices in all industries, lol.
cute and funny lobbies were the best
thanks, i'll give it a try
You're better than me then
I game over'd 7 times before reaching four party members
I don't play a lot of JRPGs so the fuck up is not that odd, but it's still excessive
DQXIS wasn't too hard from the demo, but I didn't do tougher monsters or whatever it was that makes it actually hard, maybe you did.
>I'm old and jaded
I also remember being 19.
28.
The older I get the harder games have to be to keep me interested. I think you should take better care of your health.
do what you want, Yas Forums doesnt have to control you. remember its just a bunch of jaded virgins telling you you must play hard games 24/7
I've had that going on.
Play Stardew Valley.
>trannyhou
>too stressful to have real competition
>too boring to stomp noobs
why can't i just chill
play singleplayer games
Sonic Adventure is very comfy. Not DX though because they made everything look terrible
that game is too stressful
I hate time limits and the responsibilities and chores it forces on you
I played for 40ish hours and it's no longer comfy and the thought of returning to it is overwhelming and scary
newfag
Nothing I hate more than time limits and non-obvious / one-shot missable content.
transvestite
You can miss as much as you want. Almost every year is the same except for the changes you make.
nothing is missable in that game
I don't care
the thought of going back to my farm and having all this shit I need to do is too overwhelming
I can't be bothered to fuck with Hyper competitive PvP games anymore. All I play thats VS now is Apex. I'm decently good at it but I can't compete with the sweaties anymore
Alrighty you're on a whole nother level of anxiety right about now my guy. Consider the following after a fap:
>Antichamber
>The Stanley Parable
>Firewatch
>Inside
>Noita
>Ori (can't really miss anything there)
>Owlboy (meh)
>Return of the Obra Dinn (watch The Terror for max spooks)
>Castle Crashers
>Life is Strange
>Newfag
>1cc LoLK
this really isn't as hard as it looks if you play as Reisen since her bomb is stupid good and the game shits out lives at you every second
When I said that I'd rather do something productive, I meant something that would require dedication and challenge me. I would just prefer to keep video games as a means of entertainment/relaxation and save my energy for things I deem more useful.
All the mindgame bullshit of modern day shooters is still the same from back in cs 1.6 days and general arena shooters. It's just the gear is genre's like BR's that change up the behaviors. Reflexes don't count for as much anything anymore unfortunately. It's the blatent cheating and abusing of the systems that make the super competitive scenes unfun now.
Castle Crashers without friends may kill this man
>Using bombs
Casual.
Play gimmick matches like TF2's 10x weapon stats or Starcraft's UMS maps. Or Smash with items and stage hazards ie the way it was always intended to be played.
God, Quake champions made the turbosweat come out of me for a while. Was alotta fun until I realized how annoying ults became. I kinda miss that, but I know I'm all washed up now
I'm the opposite; I look for sadistic achievements with global completion rate 0,5% or less and become obsessed of the game until I've completed it 100%. But that's not a good thing either. I just wish I could sit back and relax with a nice game.
Wait hold up what are we trying to do again?
Quake Champions had potential when it droppd on the hot heals of NuDoom's multiplayer but it didn't hold up because everyone blamed it on having overwatch mechanics. Meanwhile Unreal was still in Alpha and no one was giving a shit so Tencent dropped it. Just give me back my goddamn Tribes.
dumb fairy
There are mods that you can install to slow down the timer and give you more time to get your shit done.
Maybe it's finally time for you to give having sex a go
They want a game that interests them without any challenge or general constraints.
The one who calls others dumb is the actual dumb one. Using bombs is just a cheap way of breaking a pattern to hang onto a life. By using bombs you're preventing your own growth and skill.
Bow before the strongest.
Just get Animal Crossing or something.
I love challenging games like everyone else, but there was a period when I broke my leg that I wanted to play nothing but comfy games because of the pain

BOW BOW BOW BOW
For me I find that I still enjoy challenging games but I can't deny my age is catching up to me (about to hit 40 next year).
I still can't beat sekiro shura route on NG+ with bell demon and without kuro's charm.
I am certain that I could've steamrolled this game if it came up 10 years ago.
Oh right. Then unironically Minecraft or Brothers a Tale of Two Sons?
dumb aquaposter
based Aquaposter
If you don't like challenge you are a dumb dumb
go back to your containment threads you retarded aquafag
I feel this I online games. In the end, there is always someone who can steamroll you. I need to go back to singleplayers
