i'd play the shit out of Ray desu
>three times more powerful
Is rayman 2 n64 any good? I always hear people recommending the dreamcast version
Different game and devs
Yeah, DC and PC are the way to go, but the N64 version is still good for what it is.
The Quake 2 64 port was by the same devs that made Doom 64, it was probably the best the console could do.
uh-huh
Quake II on N64 is better than the PC version and definitely better than the PSX version.
>the ones that have butts, anyway
You underestimate my power.
I remember this add vividly from... I think it was like, Archie Comics or some shit?
The Pichu model here looks almost exactly (if not exactly) like his model from Melee
Is there any example of good ads for modern vidya?
>only my cousin was allowed to have vidya
>no friends as kid
>remember going to grandmas house
>cousin's n64 was always hooked up to tiny tv in room upstairs in mom's old room
>countless hours spent playing w/ cousins/siblings
>would all take turns, when not playing/watching would mess around with all the old dust covered toys that were up there from parent's/aunt/uncle's childhood
>they died, house sold to someone else
>still remember that room, those days, that n64
>those times, even the old wooden toys
like tears in the rain bros....
This advertising is really innocent.
oh
no
Life is strange, bros.
I remember reading Electronic Gaming Monthly and just being in awe over the "Ultra 64" press releases. Then I saw pics of the Final Fantasy 3/6 tech demo and I was sold. Shame Square Soft had to jump ship to Sony beforehand.
the classic
this is top tier advertisement.
The following gen ruined gaming ads forever, fuck sony and their retarded random shit.
You do know that the 64 came out AFTER the PS1/Saturn systems, right?
I never understood the "no games" for N64.

I've never had more games for a console save Xbox 360
>no Blast Corps in the list
Unfuck yourself.
Godamn I loved Mace. I don't know why. The Arab dude was my shit. And the mini golf level was really surreal to me. I miss wacky shit like that in kinda serious games.
Yeah, but the Psone wasnt the generation with random shit, it was either PS2 or 3. I remember a stupid ad with a baby screaming and a lot of very similar non sequitur.
Scratch and sniff ad for Earthbound will be the one I will always remember.
>Funny with My Voice
o-ok
this ad might have helped tank the game
Who the hell thought this one through
>you will never own a comfy warm quake sweater
Is that Bryan Cranston on the left?
I have the same memories but with a Super Nintendo and a fuckin' Macintosh with Japanese grandparents and cousins. BITCH.
Melee actually used a lot of Stadium models for the background Pokemon and considering Dorf was also a clone who used the E3 Tech demo model, it wouldn't surprise me if they quickly grabbed that Pichu model so they could rush him in as well.
A lot of those people are either jrpgfags or arcadefags, the N64 has a small library compared to other consoles, but it has some really damn great games that are still fun to play up to this day.
what
go ahead and post one then
well if you're talking comedic value
i'm an idort, don't argue
Nice, I don't think I've ever seen that.
