its by far one of the best games out right now. I stopped playing 2 years back though since I was spending way to much time playing it. I never spent a dollar on it and got pretty much everything their was to get in the game. You have to play with friends or find a non autistic clan though.
-Amazing amounts of customization. You can customize each frame to play in a completely different way then they are intended. Same with all the weapons
-Great community (or at least I had a good experience)
-absolutely amazing graphics (and is amazingly optimized)
-Devs actually interact and listen to the community
-consistant updates
-fun story with some absolutely kino moments
-probably the only consistently fun parkour system in a game
-Late game allows you to completely break every single weapon and war frame.

Theirs hundreds more I could talk about, like how you can just farm a rift for 2 hours with the boys and get 200plat in items.
Try it out, and play it with friends you will love it OP. Just remember it will consume your entire life. (also, only play on the PC, console version is kinda meh)

Endgame is whispering BR, RU, and SEA ESLs for trades all day.

Everything good about it was a complete accident, every single issue is completely intentional and part of the intended experience. It's a horribly repetitive game that becomes dull after the first few missions since they are all the same shit on the same maps with the same tilesets.
And I hope you enjoy extremely limited inventory slots and other korean tactics from a decade ago and walls of text from people defending this jewish bullshit with classics like "it's bad BUT that actually is a good thing", "but it's not an issue because the game is FUN™" and everyone's favorite: ">not supporting /our/ favorite professional twitchslut mommy".

It's free though right? Looks like it'd be worth just to see the maps and designs first-hand and then drop the game after seeing all the easy stuff to unlock

When people offer drugs to you for free, you can bet your ass that "free" isn't something they have in mind ("your ass", on the other hand, is probably on their plan).
The tutorial is good at creating the illusion that there more cool free shit on the other side of the grind wall, but there is nothing waiting for you in there (you clear the last planet of copy-pasted assets and nothing happens), aside from some awful teenage drama show (with plot points stole from mainstream animu) that gets a new 10 minutes of cliffhanger bait every three years.

Yes, picked it up around 2018, had some fun, completed the "storyline", got into trading and lucked out with some really high rng, and got a shit ton of the premium currency. Overall pretty fun just couldnt keep grinding after 200 hours. I used to play it while listening to podcasts and the like. Its like playing Cod zombies, repetive mindless fun but you get to dress up your character

You will love this game. Jesus christ is there grind to be had. It is fun at the begining but the missions repetitive and the space mech missions aren't entirely fun ethier. Ivara and trinity are the only fun support warframes and rhino and anubis(?) Are the only fun attacker warframes.

Uhh... But you can't. The only exception is Trinity which you're supposed to stack negative duration

Also the grind is terrible and not friendly to new players in the slightest

the perfect game to play when you dont know what to play, can put on music and podcasts in the back and just relax and farm.

One of the last """bosses""" I fought in the game was the Ropalolyst, and holy SHIT, that fight was poorly designed jank. With mechanics like that, I'd rather just fight a damage dealing damage sponge. Same goes for a lot of warframe bosses.

its not meant to be a mentally taxing game, i dont know what you think warframe is but its not that, if you want a hard game go play dark souls or nioh or somthing. warframe is a laid back, relaxed dynasty warriors with good aesthetics and gameplay. this is a game i play with one hand on my side monitor when im watching an anime or a podcast or somthing. not somthing that should always require your full attention.

I've seen somebody describe it as "almost like a third person shooter musou game".

It's a glorified mobile game. You log in, and do a couple of missions when you've got nothing better to do. Or you do it while having something on another screen. If you go full autist powergamer, you'll burn out very quickly.

because of warframe progression, unlike other f2p games like say warthunder or planetside where the progression is an mind numbingly slow grind, warframe takes a different approch where it has so much to do/unlock, that you're never not progressing, and that sense of progression is why i play.
also many of the people who are cynical about this game are oldfags who seem to not understand that a game dosent last forever, i realize that now that im at "endgame" the game has less for me to do and explore, but i sure as hell had alot of fun playing up to this point, and i dont regret it.

Bullet jumping definitely isn't as fast as coptering.

Void Dash is what happens when you bullet jump in Operator Mode. It's a very fast teleport/blink.
