Nope, the maingame had a decent but slightly disappointing main campaign and a shitload of killer multiplayer content, which was more than worth the regular price tag on its own. For the extra gameplay OE is one of those rare DLCs that is genuinely worth its own price tag.
Meanwhile, Pokemon is adding stuff that literally WAS in every prior game short of maybe sun and moon.
