KH2 has better gameplay. KH1 has better atmosphere, character moments, and overall fun adventure vibe.

Unironically this my only real downside is the camera and platforming needed refined.

List of kino:
>story ain't 100% bullshit yet
>OST is amazing
>World lineup covers a lot of bases and isn't too old school or nu school
>Multiple optional worlds including Olympus, Halloween Town, and Atlantic
>So many hidden weapons and bosses that the game doesn't outright spell it out for you like the MP weapons, Kurt Zisa, or Synth Mini Spawns
>Obtain some magic spells early like Blizzard by doing a side quest fully without needing to beat the story first
>Alternate cutscenes depending on if you beat Olympus or Wonderland first, or if you beat Neverland before meeting Riku in Monstro

Forgot to mention as well Billy Zane, everyone else just ended up trying to copy him

I mean... yeah? I thought that was a well know fact by now.

I enjoyed Birth by Sleep. The rest of the games that came after 1 were... weird and at times just plain bad.
I've yet to play 3 though because post-grad poorfag who doesn't own a PS4 so waiting for PS5 to come out.

KH1FM, KH2FM and KH3RM are all great games with different flaws

>KH3RM
>great game
No.

filtered

Isn't it the most braindead one though?

spbp

KH1 has tighter more grounded combat and imo is more technical. KH2 is flashy but you actually feel flashy as opposed to that empty feeling KH3 gives you.

coping

Limit Cut and Secret Episode have filtered tons of people. Most game journalists couldn't beat any of the data bosses even on easy

seething

Okay zoomer, did it fix anything in the main game? No? Didn't think so.

Hello? BASED department?

Give me the money.
Hello!

1 had the better story and I liked how the Disney baguys did form a Legion of Doom type group.

but man that gameplay feels clunky as fuck when I went back to play 1FM via 1.5

>zoomer
Zoomers are mostly the only ones who give a shit about Kingdom Hearts
>did it fix anything in the main game.
Remind was a huge improvement to 3, just like FM was a huge improvement to 2. You would know that if you weren't busy seething because you got filtered

I wish the future games kept Sora's weight that he had in KH1. He's far too floaty in every game since.

Greatest games ever made? nah.
Was it pretty awesome for what it was? Hell yeah.
Best in the series?
Well yeah possibly.

Part of it is because it's completely self contained.

Attached: 1583699777010.jpg (720x960, 104.79K)

>Zoomers are mostly the only ones who give a shit about Kingdom Hearts
You can't be serious.
>Remind was a huge improvement to 3,
No, it was a bunch of endgame bosses and a rehash of the last 3 hours of the game. Did it fix anything in the actual game yes or no?

Don't play 3. It retroactively ruins the series. Just pretend the series ends at 2

>>Alternate cutscenes depending on if you beat Olympus or Wonderland first, or if you beat Neverland before meeting Riku in Monstro
holy shit, what? I never knew that the cutscenes changed

>You can't be serious.
Are you delusional?
>No
So you haven't even played KH3RM. Wew. Opinion discarded

2 is what killed the series. 3 was just shitting on the corpse

>KH3RM

LOL

>Only 1.4% have beat the Data Org in Re:Mind
>Under 1% have beaten Yozora
WTF i thought you people want a challenge for this game what happend?
And don't say the bosses are shit, they are some of the best bosses made

100% this.
KH1 has the worst gameplay of the mainline but the atmosphere and the sense of adventure is much better.

2 at least had mostly good Disney worlds. 3 only had Tangled and Toy Story

Okay copelord, have fun seething with your non arguments over there.

>they are some of the best bosses made
I just beat 3 and found the game play meh till i unlocked the latest patch abilities and oblivion+oathkeeper where it makes me attack like im goddamn playing kh2 but why the fuck did I have to beat a game to unlock the "fun" shit?
I want Remind for the great looking fightsbut fuck that $30 tag

Okay brainlet, have fun seething with your hate boner for a game that you don't know anything about.

Only 15 percent of KH3 players even got the DLC.

KH3 is simply too hard for most people

>WTF i thought you people want a challenge for this game what happend?

they never got gud or in my case, waiting for the DLC to be cheaper.

3 felt like a joke in difficulty, even on Proud

Or in my case, sold their copy of KH3 because it was absolute shit and aren't going back to it.

>BUT RATINGS
Base KH2 has high ratings but doesn't even have dodge roll. Nice try nostalgia cuck

>3 felt like a joke in difficulty
Yet so many people got filtered

Aqua is gorgeous.

Attached: 1578877083216.jpg (768x1024, 117K)

>ratings don't matter

Actually they do and they say that KH3 is shit. Deal with it.

Yeah, by bad quality. It's called having taste.

It's story is only marginally better than the following games and the gameplay is significantly worse. Once you've played 2, going back to 1's clunky shitfest is agonizing.
Also I want to fuck namine. That is all.

Attached: 1570395203532.jpg (450x500, 34.76K)

>but doesn't even have dodge roll
>he needs dodge roll
Git fucking gud.

>All we needed for the next game was Sora continuing his quest to find his friends and go home while exploring more Disney worlds and fighting evil
>Instead it's now needlessly convoluted psuedo-shounen with asspulls, retcons, and unecessary OCs who won't fuck off despite dying everywhere with the Disney elements feeling shoehorned in.

If Nomura lets you add one thing to a future KH game, what would it be?

I personally want Merlin's training room back. Why is the game with 1 MP Cure the only one with a training room? It's insulting.

Shut up, you sexist idiot.

Attached: 1562033408699.jpg (960x720, 262.26K)

>Metacritic ratings matter I agree with them
>The game is bad because I got filtered
>Who cares if the combat is barebones just git gud
Holy shit look at all of this crazy nostalgia cuck cope. Stay mad and bad bros

It literally doesn't. You've never played DDD if you honestly think that.

t. coprophile

What's sexist about acknowledging her beauty?

t. game journalist

Kh2 didn't really need a dodgeroll since everything was based around guarding. Still dumb it wasn't a option though.

You're objectifying her.

Imagine having your head so far up your seeping, gaping, oozing pussy that you think your opinion is a fact.
While we are at opinions, here's mine. Take it as a reality check. Or don't.
This franchise is dogshit, the dialogue is laughable at best and edgy/cringy at worst, the concept is pretty much an excuse to extort as much money as possible from kids and autists, and the plot is anime characters hitting and cloning each other.

Attached: 1558851764848.jpg (1189x1079, 209.2K)

1 doesn't play significantly worse than 2. It has flaws but aspects like the rpg elements make it still enjoyable to play.

As a fan I have to say, Kingdom Hearts was never very good. Kingdom Hearts 1? It's considered good because the story had yet to become truly messed up and layered by atrocious writing, retcons, stupid ideas (like the clone characters), etc. And it also had the benefit of debuting with a combination of Disney Classics and Disney Renaissance films being the worlds.

By now they have ran out of good worlds and the story is garbage. The novelty is very much gone. But I argue that without using the good Disney films? Kingdom Hearts would have failed back then.

Reworked Mirage Arena where you can play as any character

>not kh1 ansem
begone pale imitation

I did it all on the superior Xbox One X version of the game on critical without the kupo coin for every fight.
I suggest to you, reader, to do the same, these are genuinely fantastic bosses with Yozora being a contender for one of the greatest ever made in any game period.
How Yozora can be that difficult yet never feel unfair is what every final boss/secret boss should strive to achieve.

Why do KH3 fags think that boss fights are enough to save the game
>Pants on the head retarded anime story that expects you to play 5 different mobile spin offs
>Least amount of Disney worlds and only 2 are good
>Dev team clearly does not know how to use UE4 since everything looks like plastic
>No memorable music
>Endgame locked behind $30 DLC

It has the most coherent story but its overall meh until you visit Hollow Bastion for the first time and the game picks up from there.

came here to post this.

No, 2 is way better are you stupid?

It was ok, got it as a christmas present as a kid and had no memory card and had to beat it in one sitting. I'd say it was slightly too simplistic but a co-operation of Square Enix and Disney seemed really unusual regardless of being a kid who had played only a slight bit of FF6.

because the boss fights are the best part of this series

Thats why I said mainline, then again all the games are connected. Im not a fan of any of the command card games honestly.

This, but I'll add that KH2's amazing combat was absolutely wasted until Final Mix was released. All those cool toys you had were totally wasted by virtue of how braindead easy all but one or two fights were. Until then, I would've considered KH1 definitively better.

The thing is, while KH1 might have the worst gameplay of the main three now that KH3's DLC has released, it's distinctive enough that it's still fun when you go back to it. There's a lot to be said for the slower, more methodical combat, such that playing KH1 feels more like its own experience as opposed to just a lesser version of KH2.

>Pants on head retarded anime story
That's the entirety of KH
>No memorable music
You're deaf user
>Endgame locked behind $30
Agreed but at least it wasn't a full $50 repurchase like 1 and 2

>that expects you to play 5 different mobile spin offs
They're not handheld only anymore.
>>Least amount of Disney worlds and only 2 are good
Not true. Dream Drop Distance has the least amount of Disney Worlds. It only has 5. And whether a world is good or not is subjective.
>>Dev team clearly does not know how to use UE4 since everything looks like plastic
>>No memorable music
Also subjective.
>>Endgame locked behind $30 DLC
I'll kind of give you this one. But the series in general is no stranger to this with the rereleases/remakes with more content.

I say this as someone who is trying to be fair to the series as a whole.

This. The story and bringing back the nobodies was literally the worst thing about it. Also, fuck Xehanort getting forgiven. That guy fucking killed Kairi and Sora's just acts like he's happy the faggot gets to go to heaven. Bullshit

The only thing 2 has over 1 is combat. And even then there are certains parts of the combat that 1 does better.

It's FFXIII all over again. You have to play through 20 hours of shit to get to the good part. Only it's worse because you have to buy a $30 dlc too

KH2FM came with another game.

What do you mean?

Attached: 1550276879989.jpg (911x1024, 176.63K)

This. Straight facts.
KH2 is far superior gameplay wise, the combat is incredible and the drive system is fantastic and pretty well balanced. Compared to KH3 where form changes which is equivalent to drive forms pop up like candy with zero resource ontop of grand magic and attractions, just makes everything so fucking cheese and easy it's not even fun.
KH1 though is the definition of soul, the atmosphere, the story, the music, the characters, everything is just a magical adventure. KH2 has great music too though.

KH3 is so disappointing. Combat is too cheese with form changes/magic/attractions having near 100% uptime, the story is retarded as fuck, the music is awful not a single memorable tune in it, and the worlds are pretty much all shit and there's only a few of them.
I was so excited for a toy story world only to play it and turns out the entire world takes place in the toy store where you just keep hopping into a dumb vehicle the whole time. What a fucking waste.

The DLC should have been free. Though even if it was, it wouldn't be able to save KH3 from being dogshit.

DDD is mainline, fuck-nugget.

Image being an obvious edit aside, did anyone else take Ansem's words seriously? Totally moving on. Kingdom Hearts has become too terrible. I knew that Kingdom Hearts 3 would be my final game, I just don't care about the other stuff Nomura is doing. I seriously do NOT care about the Dandelions the literal stupid Foretellers who idiotically started the war, or Xehanort's incoming game. And it's not that it's mobile that's the problem I genuinely do not care for any of this stuff.

That fight against sephiroth was legendary.

imagine a game with semi open paths that actually account for the fact that you haven't been to one location before the other, what a wild concept in this day and age.

Drive forms were completely broken though, not to mention reflect shitting on almost every boss

you'll be back user
I assure it

>KH2 is far superior gameplay wise
The level design is completely awful.

in all honestly, no seething, no BS...
Ive willingly played all 3 compilations
the entire story is shit and convoluted

this
now post your best kh quotes

why is kh3 bad?
