Why was dark souls 3 such and uninspired piece of garbage?

DS2 felt like the designers literally didn't understand what made DeS and DaS good.
Some of the enemy designs are MMO trashmob tier.
Aside from a few nice vistas the level design is ugly as hell.

It feels like another studio just tried to copy DaS.
Does that make it bad? No, it's probably pretty okay.
But it still feels lacking compared to the other FromSoft games.

It simply wasnt

DS2's direction was kinda hacky from the start. Those old ladies laughing about how you're going to lose your souls feels like the developers losing their spaghetti about the overly meme'd difficulty of DS1. A lot of the game feels like kind of vain attempts to recreate the first game's magic, but with the difficulty/tedium of enemy mob placements being prioritized over interesting level design.
Still a great game but between its inability to get out of DS1's creative shadow and it's pretty weak suite of samey boss battles I think the black sheep position is honestly deserved. DS3 is uninspired as well in my opinion but it never outright bored me like DS2 did with enemy placements like those whip guys outside the Coliseum boss in the hunter's copse.

I'll bite: what's the middle one? I stopped watching halfway through the second ben 10 series.

I will forever be mad about the DS2 lighting downgrade and how actual darkness was meant to be important.

They were intentionally ugly bc you weren't meant to see them with the current lighting engine.

Majula is the least ugly place because the sunset lighting matches the older graphics.

ds2 is meme "muh hard" shit that looks worse than ds1, was massively downgraded before release, has unforgivable mechanics like soul memory and adaptability, has game design choices like tagteam bosses and infinite lifegems, and is mechanically frustrating to play because of terrible hitboxes, shockwaves, floaty movement, and deadzones.
There is nothing nearly this bad about ds3. Not even close.

What game is 2017 reboot Gwen?

Ds1 is a great game. Despite its second half it manages to be an amazing experience all the way through.
Ds2 is full off new ideas. Some good, some bad. Some really bad. However it also has soul and is pretty fun if you turn your brain off.
Ds3 is garbage. Everything is by the books, there is not one new idea present. Infact aspects of the previous games have regressed, combat is shallow, exploration is linear, covenants are still garbage after 3 games.
Ds1>>>Ds2>Ds3

They do? I only ever see ranging from dislike to massive disdain for both. I do think some of the newer aliens were cool like Big Chill and Echo Echo, but then nothing will ever compare to Cannonbolt and Ultimate Cannonbolt.

There's nothing wrong with the locations in 2, it's just the gameplay that's shit.

DS3 is the perfect example of a game that is technically good but not fun at all
Just look at this enemy
It's faster than you, never stops attacking, has a gigantic range, takes half your hp with a single hit, never gets staggered, and you can't even tell what it's doing
And yet you basically never have to fight a single one in the entire game
So why is it even in the game? Because From just wanted to make a game that annoys the player at every single turn that's really it
DS3 is genuinely at it's most fun when you are ignoring all the enemies and just running through the game which makes it very easy because actually fighting any of the enemies is just not fun

Yeah, it doesn't have to be 5 phases of perfectly timing dodges, you cant use spacing to the sides anymore because all attack home on you even when they are in air. Look back at Demon's Souls bosses, Dragon God was sneaking around, Old Hero was also sneaking around, if you were mage you had magic duel with Spider. Dragons were bullshit even back then and never got good, I need to admit that. Tower Knight wasn't hard, it was very fun fight.
