How is your character looking so far?
Nioh 2

From Soft already got rid of that shit with Sekiro
This.
Literally no reason to play this off-brand cola shit.
fatest odachi with the fatest armor
>fatest
shouldnt you be using flying kato set?
I'm playing through 1 first but can someone explain what the fuck this warrior of the west set is and why it drops off 99% of revenants? far as I can tell any heavy set is completely worthless
it drops early and is the only one with decent toughness (important to not get staggered) and has a set bonus which is where a lot of your stats/damage/build is focused around
you'll see more in the 2nd region
Is this game as fun as the original nioh alpha or is still watered down trash like nioh release?
This but unironically. Just enough to keep me under 70% weight load and over 200 toughness
why? that's the iga set which gives just as much ninjutsu while also giving reduced dash consumption and faster bombs
>Just lost 160k souls
God I'm so tilted. This stage is garbage because there are like 20 enemies clustered up in these areas. It's a main mission in region 3 where you go to fight Azai. I can't get to my FUCKING BODY because every time you die all 20 something enemies respawn. I mean, good area for grinding I guess, but damn. 160k souls....could have gone up at least 2-3 levels with that shit.
And god are there snipers in this game. This stage I'm on has nothing but snipers and archers everywhere.
I'm in Tokai and it's still the only set to regularly drop, been bugging the fuck out of me. But at least I got the red demon set for a mission reward, seems pretty decent so far
>Nothing but dex
>Ninja build
I hated people that did that shit in the first game. They should have taken out ninjutsu and omnyo builds. They're boring and cheese builds.
Im doing alright
That was my least favorite stage and gave me Nioh 1 flash backs of the shitty castle levels
What set should I be looking out for dual swords?
A mix between Master Swordsman and Tokichiro's set, thats my build The thing is, Master Swordsman is pretty heavy so if you want at least B agility you have to dump at least 35 points in stamina. But these sets give combined gives you 2kat damage bonus and 2kat skill damage ( one of the is Sign of the Cross +30%) the other one I don't remember.
When do those appear?
actually looking at the bonuses you may be right
and apparently kato thought the same because he dropped it on my 3rd run
the master swordsman drops from duel katana mastery dojo mission, tokichiro drops in his bossfight
probably only a endgame/ng+ viable build 2bh
Ive been using his transform, he seems like a bro I bet he will drop it for me if I ask him
I really dont think his fucking ninjutsu power scaling actually works though, if it does it must be a miniscule damage increase
which power scaling? the +48 or the % scaling off unscathed?
1 kat is fucking boring trash.
Max set bonus is a (A) damage scaling based off your ninjutsu power
When do you unlock remodel option? I fibished one Magatama mission for blacksmith and theres another new one
>wanna talk to npc for whatever story bits he has for me
>joins me, no question asked.
Fuck you for making my game easier!
Also just beat the nargacuga knock-off.
Started with the glaive and tonfas but the tonfas really don't click with me so currently mostly using the glaive.
Can you play as a mage in this game?
>agility A
my nigga
Played Nioh 1 with B but Nioh with A and have to say B is just better. The survivability you gain is extreme. But I dont want to be a shitter and stick to A for Nioh 2.
Maybe endgame after respec. Talisman amounth depemds on magic level
I only tried switchglaive in 2's trial but I played 1 with Odachi and under 30%, am I doing it wrong?
when will this be cracked?
im not sure how that even applies to damage
Can anybody enlighten me on respec? In nioh 1 we had general skill points and you were free to put em in the skills of a weapon of your choice. But here skill points are tied to a weapon ur using. So what happens when u respec points? I want that shiny Nioh 2 plat!
>remodeling
this shit is actually cool as fuck, was this in the first game?
maybe you're looking for refashion?
remodel lets you change the scaling of weapons, so say tonfa has a d+ scaling off dex, you can change it to an A- scaling
>Dex build
>Not one badass male character
You guys are extremely predictable.
Same. We’re basically paper tigers. Use those def talismans, user. They help alot
What weapon do you main?
>Just got to ice odachi boss
Now I see why everyone bitched about him. Nigger hits for like 1,200 per hit and has huge range and spin attacks.
anyone found any success building towards yokai shift? even with a crapton of armrita gauge bonuses, genryu's set and extraction talismans it still charges up incredibly slowly and it barely lasts 5 seconds, even though genryu set is suppoused to extend it 10 seconds as a base,
living the dream
Yes, my bad. Refashion
refashion is unlocked very early on
Yes, yes, but what conditions
finally one male charicter under the swarm off 1000000 same faced waifu faggots
that's hanzo you fucking brainlet
conditions for what? it lets you just glamour your gear
Ive been using ninjutsu aswell but with odachi. Anyone know what boss drops Odachi skills?
Sekiro has no build variety, so it isn't an action RPG.
It has very little move variety, so it isn't a decent action game.
It has shittier stealth than BamHam or Ass Creed, so it doesn't even deserve the Tenchu DNA.
Fucking forget it
1kat for humans/bosses. Only because it’s fast and fits my hit/quick dash style. It has most boring and shit moveset.
Gama for revenants, yokai (extremely good for breaking horns in high stance) and some humans.
I don't like the yokai shift like I unlocked the passives that increase how long it last and it still last like 10-15 seconds and it depletes if you get hit and shit.
It's not even worth using to me, kind of annoying in all honesty. You'd have to pump like 80 skill points into the tree to make it viable. We're talking a shit ton of grinding.
Pretty
I'm waiting for the inevitable PC version senpai, I've double dipped with the first game and don't want to repeat that.
Do enjoy it tho, I'm rather hyped about it myself.
Can you play as totally-not-Geralt again btw?
Odachi feels too slow for me. Need to go switchglaive, it seems.
2kat is complete garbage, jesus. Water Slash is the only reason to invest into that weapon. It looks nice aesthetically though, but water slash is literally just the 2kat version of Reaper attack for Kuri weapons. You do such low damage regardless of stance in 2kat and the ki drain is massive. At least with a two handed weapon you're getting higher damage for more ki drain.
It's a two handed weapon, it's suppose to feel slow. Same thing with axe, hammer, or any other two handed weapon. They're heavy and big. 1kat is a quick weapon, not sure how fast switchglaive is but the revenants I've fought with it make it look really quick as well.
Going strength ninja. You guys think I should just keep putting points into Strength and Dex or invest in other stats?
getting punished by getting hit, that i can understand, but simply attacking depletes like 15% of the bar PER SWING, and earning amrita or using spirit stones dont extend it. i get that living weapon was broken and needed a nerf but yokai shift is actually even worse than being in human form with armrita gauge bonuses.
Filtered.
uhhh
try using god of wind when it's upgraded and say 2kat is garbage again
Warrior of the west, Red memen and the kingo set are the 3 most common to drop off revenents due to the ease of getting them, and how they are pretty good for how early you get them. I can attest that kingo is god tier for katana users, using just enough of that set to get the back damage bonus, with another set that I cant remember the name of for more base damage, plus the clan and spirit guardian bonuses for back damage, and rolling back damage onto your katana and having the back damage mystic art, I was 1 shotting bosses at level with a single iai using that kingo set, granted I died in 1 hit to most things. When word of shit like that gets out eeevvverrryone starts using that stuff (aside from people who can come up with their own builds)
got saito to drop me dragon fang skill for 1kat, but i belive he has more skills right? is there a list for them or can someone confirm if he has more skills?
big brains make a female character because if you want to play as a male, you can choose from dozens of cheap transformations at the tea house
