Bloats file size by ~500MB, causes unnecessary strain on your CPU, and requires another layer of online-only DRM so you can't play it in Steam's offline mode.
Also, if Denuvo's servers go down and the game devs/publishers don't bother to patch out Denuvo, say goodbye to those old games you bought.

If you own any game with denuvo legitimately, pirate it and play that with the same settings. You'll get 10+ more fps.

It hogs the resources that could have gone to make your rig run smoother while playing it. Especially noticeable if you are running it on lower-end rigs just over the recommended specs.

Denuvo impairs the performances, lowering significantly frames. Prited copies either bypass the controls or even get it removed completely.
Pirated copies are better

Games are gonna get cracked anyway, just look at all the ones cracked the first day they released in . Any delays for the crack are based solely on a lack of interest by the cracking community. Denuvo has next to no effect on pirates, and all the performance decreasing consequences are only felt by people who legitimately play it.
And even if it DID stop piracy, don't you think them fucking over their customers just to fuck with other people is anti-consumer and gay?

Capcom literally removed Denuvo from DMC because of the performance issues it caused.
