Allied races are the biggest sin of BfA, most of the other shit will be lost with time and new expansions, but this precedent will set the tone for the rest of the game to come- endless shoveled-in shitty races that make wow even more of a joke than it already is

Problem is that they have no creative people working at blizz that can make a new system
So instead they make a new one each expansion and scrap it once it's over

He's the lead developer, that doesn't make him in charge. He gets told what to develop, all he gets to dictate is *how* it's developed.
Just like the lead writer (Christie Golden) doesn't dictate how the story unfolds, she gets told what has to happen (by the Narrative Director, Steve Danuser), and writes it.

For reference 500 is simply way too fucking much, you'd hardly be able to make that in a day if you tried all god damn day.
At a point it is hardly different from unlocking some of them conventionally.

You'll passively get 375-500 per week just by doing a single +15 and conquest capping. You get another 350 per week if you do the Emissary quests. Assuming you actually put in minimal effort you should be able to get 3-4 Rank 3 essences every week.
I don't care about DK's, it's the allied races themselves that are the problem. Imagine if blizz announced BfA with fur-bait and diaper gnomes as the two new races for the expansion, people would lose their minds right? But now they can slip whatever garbage into the game because people are fatigued with allied races, there are 10 this expansion alone, who knows what the future expansions will introduce
New races used to be introduced when it was necessary and made sense, now it feels like they're just going to add whoever, whenever. I'd be bothered less if they just focused on adding customization options to the older races, which is what half of the allied races should have been, because that at least doesn't open up the possibilities of adding in the shit races of the world and calling it a major expansion feature
