PS5 confirmed (Slightly) more powerful than SX

PS5 confirmed (Slightly) more powerful than SX.

We might actually get some decent frame rates this gen, HDMI 2.1 means some games should get 120fps performance modes at lower resolutions like 1080p too.

TVs coming with Freesync now as well.

Honestly, this gens hardware has me excited.

1080p is now the lower bar...fucking faggots you will never make me buy a 4k monitor. none of them are worth the price

I hope it can further enhance some PS4 games like the SeX. Some games run like shit on even the Pro like KH3.

>tfw bought a LG C9 OLED for 120fps support

Feels good man

Vizios 2020 sets will be better than most monitors if you don't mind a big screen.

2020 P Quantum at $1k 120hz 4k FALD XLED with a fuckton of dimming zones.

I wonder why MS went slightly weaker. Did they not expect this?

Can't be price, I doubt an extra 1tflop would add much cost.

Guess i was fucking wrong, this is a steal.

Is it a good TV or should I wat for CX?

MS will probably undercut Sony.

I could see another $599 US DOLLARS from Sony while SX is $499.99

2020 models will be better, they are 120hz Freesync with higher brightness/HDR and more dimming zones.

>I could see another $599 US DOLLARS from Sony
lmao, you are retarded

Currently best on the market for OLED, 2020 model will have some slight improvements but double the price.

wait this is a 2020 model right? or should i look for another model.

>Vizio

has their UI gotten any better? I had a few Vizio tvs and they had the worst laggiest interface I've ever had to use on a TV. Even a shitty TCL smart TV my roommate had felt better and didn't look that much worse.

$600 is less now than it was in 2006.

That's the wrong leak.

This is the real one with not only more information, but also came out first.

>he actually is
lmao

2020 models usually hit in Spring. Corona virus may push back to Summer maybe though.

It's much better but the Disney+ app reboots sometimes. Should be a fix later. it's a worse UI than Roku or Android TV tho.

thanks for the info, time to save up for then.

No reason to buy either console if you have a good computer. Every exclusive will be on PC.

Cope.

That's such a small performance difference and it's both AMD hardware.

Wouldn't put it past Microsoft to bump the shit up close to launch.

Weeb shit(PS5) and 4k Blu ray.

>PS5 confirmed (Slightly) more powerful than SX.
Which basically means that PC specs will be same for lower price in next year.

Nah, GPU tech is stagnating. It'll be 3 years til you can build a comparable one in the price range of $600.

Yeah, I know Snoyfags are coping. There have 3 different sources
>Github
>Eurogamer
>The leak I posted
that have the PS5 being weaker than the SeX. All 3 had more info than this one post, but no this one is "reliable" source

I love how everytime MS show off something about the SeX, a bunch of ""rumors"" start to appear about the PS5.
Sony had no problem dunking on MS last gen, if they truly did have the better specs, why arent they showing off any of it?

consoles are way cheaper, video games are optimzed for consoles and you don't know shit about exclusives.

> GPU tech is stagnating
If there is same specs on consoles, then it means GPU tech got some progress. Since it's custom ones, AMD for sure will not release it for sale(imagine it as having RX470+480, but no 490), but a year after that will have better tech, with that one high-end option.
Always happened that way before.

Will the SSD make PS4 games load faster? Would be nice to play MH World on the thing if so

>3700x + rtx2080 will cost $500 next year
Why are you full of shit

120hz effective refresh rate is not the same as 120hz native refresh rate

reality will be a chugging desktop and storefront and sub 30fps games, again

It's superb, one of the best purchase I've done in recent years

>3700x + rtx2080
Wait for real benchmarks first.
What i'm saying that we will get almost same upgrades since technology is here in that generation, while better optionds will come a year after.
If there is no techonlogy exist for THAT specs with that low price, then consolepeasants are being frauded again.

Die shrinks are becoming harder thanks to quantum tunneling. We'll need to switch to from Silicon soon for big gains.

It does on SX, so it's possible.

Retard.

They're gonna be the cheapest good quality true 120hz TVs. They're bring advertised for next gen gaming and HDMI 2.1 features.

This isn't frame doubling shenanigans.

not sure why i even enter threads like these when they're inevitably just fellow mustards talking about how consoles are shit and how their 5 year old shitbox will be outperforming a console day 1

>all these retards bragging about their """simulated""" 120hz tvs
Looks like you all got jewed hard.

>Wait for real benchmarks first.
we already know that's the case. and the games aren't even optimized for the new amd hardware.
and no, an RTX2080 won't cost $200 next year.

fuck

HDMI 2.1 is ushering in an Era of proper 120hz TVs.

True 120hz TVs do exist now too. LG OLEDs for example.

I know you guys love frame rates, but ultrawide gaming is way more enjoyable. Even if the monitor is limited to 60fps it's still better to have more horizontal real-estate than frames above 60fps.

Not saying high fps is a bad thing, just saying ultrawide is awesome. On PC it's been the second most important upgrade I've made other than the video card.

Seems like 4K120hz is only possible if you buy a TV. Monitors are lagging behind big time. 1440p144hz monitors cost the same today as they did in 2017. I'm not going to support that blatant jewery. Especially when an LG OLED can be found for less than $1000 on sale.

Honestly making me want to upgrade my TV. Not sure what I'd do with my current TV though.

Different sources claiming different shit.

Oh I believe it, but I think a lot of people are soon going to realize how hard they got fucked.

Buy the 5 year best buy warranty. Yes it's $599,but it covers burn in and you will 100% have some then.

What does BB do then? They give you the amount of the money you paid for the TV back, to buy a new model.

I believe PS5 will be weaker which explains why Sony is going wild with third-party exclusive deals.

It's called reading reviews. Impulse buyers deserve what they get.

Is burn in really that common with newer models? I heard the newer TVs have some software solution that basically makes burn in only a thing during extreme testing scenarios.

>Dude gets all the specs to a fractional level correct for Xbone
>Dunno if he's legit
This is the most legit PS5 info yet

Burn in will happen because huds in games.

Might take 2, 3, or 4 years but huds will fuck you up.

Don't most games realize this by allowing dynamic HUD? LG OLED is basically the default TV for next gen consoles. It would be a huge bummer if they didn't adapt their games accordingly.

OLED will be depreciated in the TV scene in 2-3 years by MicroLED. It has the colors, the blacks, and no burn in.

Remember when mbg made a literal cope video?
>Xbox is more powerful. S-s-so what...
Remember when that guy got banned from his forum for spreading lies?
Remember how cerny said ps4 pro was 8 tflops
Remember how sony said ps3 and ps4 would make pc's obsolete?
Remember how sony only succeeds when other companies make mistakes, and easily become complacent.
Massive cope from snoytards. Enjoy your 9tflops.

>MicroLED
I've heard about this meme since 2017.

>We might actually get some decent frame rates this gen
What you're actually going to get is sub 24 frames per second cinematic "experiences" with more shaders loading down the system because that's what the standard has been each console gen since the PS3. Enjoy.
