Yes, it's a good game. Not great, but not terrible. Just a good time if you're into strategy RPGs or dating sims. If you're into at least one of those you'll like it. I'm not even saying that in a negative way, it's just true.
I'm the epitome of "Awakening and Everything After Killed the Series" and 3H is probably my favorite game. Who knew all FE had to do to be better is be Persona?

pretty much this, its almost in my top 5 fire emblems, but unlike other entry's where the flaws of them come from prioritizing certain aspects over the other, Three House's flaws are solely due to not being a fully finished game.

use gambits that can help you deal with magic units, like the counter attack one, or "take one damage" or "give units miracle until they take the would be fatal hit"
stuff like this can really help, other then that try to have units that can tank magic hits or gaunlet/brave/swiftstrike users fight magic users to kill them quickly.
honestly you could jump into hard mode and be perfectly fine starting with this, its different from the other entry's with that said.
Yes but dont pick normal or casual mode, the game is already very easy and it will make it boring, but maddening is not for beginners. Go with hard+classic

I would like them to know what Rhea's plan was with Blyet. I know people say she wanted Sothis to take over their body but I don't think so. She gave the Crest stone because os Sitri not done masterplan it seems. It seemed more like she wanted Blyet to bring Sothis back somehow. Also Bylet seems weak for a god.
I'm not sure I've done every route, but Silver Snow. Hopefully it reveals more. I doubt it.

Gameplay wise its the most complex game in the franchise.
The amount of skills and classes a single unit can access makes it way too enriched in terms of replayability.
it has the most options for customization but the chapters are baby tier difficulty. Customization doesn't do much good if you can beat the chapter blindfolded with a basic skill setup
I personally really like the gameplay due to how flexible you can be with classes. You can even go as far as making objectively shitty builds for characters like having Dedue shoot off spells or making Annette specialize in axes so she can use her Hero's Relic, all for 100% shits and giggles. As useless as it becomes late game, I love being able to actually walk around the monastery and interact with the area and the people. I've casually liked FE since the "original" one on GBA released outside Japan, but I could never really get into the hub world just being a menu and the main way you would get unit interactions is in the middle of a fucking battle. It's just really nice to just hang out with characters without them just being 2D sprite portraits. Now if the next FE could actually have better animations and not look like a PS2 game...

No, each game but the DS and Gamecube/wii FE's are stand alone stories
nope, with like, 2 or 3 exceptions, the games are self contained, if you ever wonder why FE gets so many reps in smash, this is pretty much why(with the other reason being easy to make)
