It's a game where you spend a couple hours each day playing, doing shit like fishing, catching bugs, shopping for items, talking to villagers, helping your town grow, etc.
Definitely a slow burn, and you really don't need to know a lot going in. Very easy game to take at your own pace.

It's a comfy as fuck life sim. If you can get behind the idea of completing a small handful of stress-free chores day by day and getting attached to certain quirky NPCs or even find a group of friends to discuss shit with and play together, it can be a game you can legit play for years while still being entertained

Its been years since I've played an animal crossing game but isn't the ingame time tied to your console time? That means there's only so much you can do during the day and during the night, unless you're time travelling its not really a binge game.

I'm from Philly. Both Exton and Fashion District got slapped. I know a bunch of west coast locations are also closed until then as well.

harvest moon = a game made by people who have the harvest moon license but no idea how to make a harvest moon game
animal crossing = comfy life simulator with cute animals
rune factory = harvest moon with a combat system
story of seasons = actual harvest moon by the people who made harvest moon
