I'm on second run and feels mostly the same enemy stat wise, or maybe they'll just increase higher after a certain point since beginning is pretty boring with shitty spells/classes

it's way easier than Warsong. So, I would probably say no. I hope someone makes a difficulty mod. I've heard there is an NG+ that makes it harder, but sounds like it never makes it too difficult.

To be fair, the skill passives and such make it far easier but on the other hand I also find it more fun due to bigger customization.
Being able to change classes isn't really that different since in Der Langrisser at least you could runestone your way to all classes eventually.
I also like how spells now have varying areas and hit enemies harder depending on their type.

Yeah, I like it much more than Warsong, other than difficulty. But even in Warsong it was fun to make your own challenge, cause it wasn't super difficult. The AI did stupid shit, and the AI does different stupid shit in this one.

Not really evil, it's just the biggest dick route where you betray your heritage as a hero of Light, then the Empire, then the Forces of Darkness for a world where you alone are the surpreme ruler and there are no wars + demons and humans can live in peace together.

Langrisser II has 4 routes: Light, Imperial, Chaos Independent.
They also added the same to the first Langrisser in this new game as well.
Besides that, they also added MORE, so Langrisser II for example has like 20+ routes or so, though some only have variations towards the end like the ending where you are all alone as everyone else you hold dear dies protecting you

But I am. This man has the greatest villain outift known to man, I mean holy fuck everyone on classic artstyle has 10/10 pauldrons, really dig them. I am currently at Scenario 19 of the A Route of Langrisser route, is it worth seeing all of the other routes? Is there some golden route that unlocks when you see the other ones? If not I think I might just start up Langrisser 2 after I finish this one up.

I have not tried Langrisser I routes yet, but II has very fun routes, especially Imperial and Independent.
Regardless you can just warp back with current level and gear to route splits so just spamming Meteor and the likes should make route climbing very easy.

Demon units pretty much explode from magic or most important the vs demon spells like Divine Pillar or Holy Blaze
I think the only time I faced troublesome demons was vs Arch Demons from Est when she's under Bozers control since she keeps equipment + command skills

I'm not actually sure but I suspect it's based on killing Bernhardt before he escapes in a later map, something that is actually pretty damn difficult to do in your first run so you shouldn't worry.

It is by far the biggest hype route as well since at the end you ascend to fight the Goddess of Light herself who summons your ancestors and protagonist of Langrisser I to fight you

Langrisser I alone has like triple scenarios over default.
And even II has a lot more scenarios over Der Langrisser.
