I work as an adjunct professor and am director of production at a mid-sized protestant church that broadcasts online and does the new media thing. Fortunately, 95%+ of both my jobs can be done from home, thanks to technology and the internet. My classes I teach are hybrids anyway, so now they're just online.

So now, more time than ever to relax and play vidya. I stockpiled food and drinks, and really am enjoying the hell out of this whole thing. I mean, concerned for my fellow man, but mostly using it as a paid staycation. Plus, fucking Animal Crossing comes out in, like, four days. That's all the socializing I need right now.

I got my BA in film production. Worked in Atlanta film for a few years. It's so corrupt and gross, you wouldn't believe it. I love Jesus and I love people, and a lot of churches are going towards a more modern, contemporary environment, and I've been volunteering in churches since I became a Christian.

So I left the ATL filmmaking scene, made a resume, sent it out, and a church hit me up. Really great team there, so I jumped on board. I love it. It's a lot of problem solving and self-starting projects and ideas, and I lead a team of about 5-6 volunteers. It's doing what I love for something I believe in.

I was scared my student exchange in Japan would be canceled, but apparently it's still on even after the European exchanges were stopped. If the CDC doesn't raise the travel warning for Japan by the end of March (which is unlikely), it looks like it might still be on. I won't bet on it, but it will be incredible if it still happens, don't you think?

I haven't checked my temperature but my throat is irritated and I feel like I'm not getting enough oxygen even when I try to breathe deep.
I swear if I'm going to die in the kung-flu I'm taking you fuckers with me.

My dad is dumb and didn't pick up a bunch of food despite my mom asking him to, so I'm moving back for a month+ while my college is closed/online to try and keep things in order
My dad smokes and my mom has a lot of congestive respiratory issues so it's of mild concern but I wish my dad would realize that even if he doesn't take it seriously, everyone else does. He watches the news constantly so he should have seen this coming.

Not sure. As far as I'm aware, asthma means that under given conditions the lungs can "lock up" in a certain way which prevents breathing. The fact that I haven't experienced this in years probably means I'm grown out of it and fine, hope that helps

The city I live in is the center of the epidemy for my country, but my country isn't in a particularly bad position so is not that bad. My real worries are for my families, they have all sorts of chronic illnesses like diabetes and heart conditions that makes the virus particularly deadly for them and I hope we can all wheater this storm together.

I'm playing some Forged Alliance Forever, which is a great overhaul mod for Supreme Commander. I'm sure many people here have enjoyed it if you're a big RTS fan. Incase I lose internet, I really want to get some enjoyment out of online play. I need to get my mind off of my regular day, which consists of stockpiling food and sanitizing everything. I pray that my family is doing okay, and the only comfort I have at this moment is that there's 0 cases of the Heineken flu in my county.

Asthma is both a physical and mental sickness user, basically, if you remain calm it will go away but if you are nervous it will come back, I found a solution for the physical part, is called Neem tea, it will make you cough out all the bad shit in your lungs tho so don't get scared but you will cough your lungs away and then you will feel much better.
