MGSV

Every ES and Fallout game

splinter cell

t. no hotkeys

literally none, analog movement in FPSes is a fucking meme, you only ever need to move as fast as possible or at stealth speed, and that's the only situation where anyone would even consider this. mouse and keyboard or controller for each specific scenario is always superior to some stupid hybrid

i bought a wooting today lads
will be here tomorrow

any wooting man in?

Every single TPS game ever.

I can't because this is superior to that

>Amputee controller
For what purpose?

this

splinter cell pre-Conviction

GTA and its clones

Wrong
Chaos Theory is better with mkb

if you want to cheat and break immersion

Lolwut

Is this worth trying? It looks kind of appealing.

the mouse wheel controlling speed is a neat trick, but makes sneaking too easy compared to an analog stick

>Having more control over your virtual body is cheating

>using your hands to steer a car is a neat trick, but makes driving too easy compared to pulling strings with your teeth
this is how retarded you sound

Yes. Download a program called "WiinU Pro" and connect your joycon to pc via Bluetooth and then you can map joycon buttons to your keyboard inputs. It's simple as fuck.

Shooters since you can get fine movement of a joystick and aiming of a mouse

anything with both driving or precise movement + shooting
>sunset overdrive
>GTA
>saints row
>asscreed
>just cause
>sleeping dogs
>hitman if you don't like holding a button to walk slow

it keeps you safely locked at specific speeds so you don’t accidentally fuck up, and trying not to fuck up is part of the fun

not really

Overwatch

those would be perfect for rts and games like civ.

move camera with the joypad move units with mouse

Assuming you literally have zero access to a PC that can play games, every console FPS

Not to mention you have no weapon hotkeys on controller. Fuck weapon wheels.

Terraria

>rts
>no hotkeys
lmao

how do you switch weapons

None. I'd rather drive with my keyboard and be free to use my mouse to look everywhere within a split second, and not having to slowly rotate the camera while trying to dodge traffic.

>literally the most easily breaking console controller and the most easily breaking wireless mouse
lol

How are you even supposed to hold that?
2/3 of a controller on a single hand must be incredibly uncomfortable

but what about movement?
is it analog?

>Hotkeys in a slow singleplayer game that doesn't require reflexes

Do nerds really?

Super hot. I actually ended up playing it with joystick+mouse. The game benefits both from analog movement and precise aiming.

I'd prefer to have a trigger on the mouse.

He's right, you can just set your speed to under the noise threshold. It's less entertaining than on the Xbox where it's controlled dynamically by the player in response to the current sound level, rather than selecting a static setting to "always silent".

So is this a meme or what?

Digital 8 way

I can understand the appeal of having analog control instead of WASD, but missing out on the 20+ mappable keys surrounding WASD is just not worth it

i bought mine today and its coming tomorrow
i think its not as well known because its not some mong gamer brand like your typical Yas Forums user would buy from

reminder that people buy razr, steelseries and cheap chinese shit

Starsiege

Playing with the shitty menus is bad enough already

Makes me wonder no one build a mouse + controller combo.
>Left hand on keyboard
>Right hand on mouse
>Mouse has an analog stick and rumble, as well as triggers
Truly the best of both worlds

FPS games in general. You get the precision of aiming with a mouse and the free movement of a joystick. You just have to get used to the new button placements.

Does it only work with that specific mouse? It would be good if you could use a mouse with a lot of buttons.

nothing really stopping you from doing this with a dualshock and mouse

repair process is free, who cares

the mouse is considered better than an analog stick, so having a stick on the mouse would be redundant (and that’s assuming you could find a decent placement).

Yeah the only real use for your left hand in MGSV on controller is attack and aim.
This is perfect for that.

Would that even work? I don't know controller programming works.

yes

But controllers have 2 analog sticks. You can use a mouse but you still have analog controls for movement.
Try sneaking in Oblivion with a mouse. It sucks. Splinter cell had a better system but it wouldn't work for all games

This is an actual thing? I thought it seemed like a cool idea.

>playing FPS with 2 mice

any game where you have to drive and also shoot

Fallout: New Vegas.

>control movement and aiming with the right hand
disregard what I said (besides placement). that’s an interesting idea, but I don’t know how well it would work out.

God when will we have both the analog perfection of a stick with the precision of a mouse bros?

Why hasn't any keyboard manufacturer tried something like this? Bring back the ball from centipede for controlling moevemt

Attached: 6307361cv13d.jpg (1368x1127, 195.46K)

I remember seeing things that were some of a keyboard (wasd + a couple more) with a wrist rest and a thumb stick, they looked like they'd be decent enough with a mouse but I never tried. Amy experiences?

When I fly a drone up your mom's ass

Wii emulation, perhaps? If you could stomach using the shoulder buttons as A and B.

It would be better the hot keys could be assigned to the d pad or other buttons

there seem to be buttons on the mouse
