What's your favorite way to play this game?
Usually with my hands.
This, i always use this user's hands.
MYSTIC KNIGHT
Second for user's hands. They're just so warm.
Usually on days off with some coffee or tea for comfy adventures.
this
if you cant play at 3fps, one shotting bosses with magtc turret setups and perfect blocks, you haven't lived
Funny, I used your hands using that other user's hands.
People say this game gets good in the post game but personally I lose all interest in continuing a run at that point. Does BBI get interesting at some point or is it just fighting reskinned enemies in dimly lit ruins the whole time?
>bought this game 4 different times and played it almost a dozen times now
>always end up picking a class with daggers
Fuck
Uninstall.exe
What's up with everything being red?
Strider after bum rushing BBI and door glitching to get all the items. Doing this twice in normal once on hard then after grab Soren farming goblins with my two +50% discipline rings with pilgrims charms activated obtained using gold I got by selling one copy of the items I stole from BBI. Then I switch vocations and nab the damage reducing buffs from mystic knight And warrior. Then back to strider so I can farm goblins on the cliffs some more and max out my vocations.
it's too tedious unless you have a healer pawn in your party
Whats with Magick Shields, do they increase Riposte damage like how spells work then enchanted or buffed shields should work best right?
Spent 6 hours trying to get the greatsword mod working and gave up
It lets me equip a shield and I can raise it but it doesnt change the default moveset or give me access to 6 skill slots
Daggers get so boring though
I played a shit ton of this game years back and I never even touched BBI.
Now, for some reason, I can't even pick up the game without getting bored within an hour.
I feel like action games have just evolved too much since this came out.
Is it any good on Switch? I have it on PC but having it in my hands might be comfy.
Stats or fashion?
fashion
I hate the BBI lv3 weapons, but they're the strongest. I don't want to use the Diabolic Shield, and would rather use the Thunder Kite Shield.
eye catching, same reason stop signs are red.
I went through everything and had the most fun as the three yellow classes, can't pick which one though. I like being able to use shields as Assasin and Strider's jump kick and spinning bullshit is fun, but Ranger's Meteor Shot is the single most satisfying bow ability for me.
Whoops, sorry, four classes. I do like Magic Archer too it's just that nothing really stuck out for me about it.
Self insert Arisen, loli pawn.
>the loli becomes (You)
I don't know chief
Unpopular opinion:
Coils of Light is a more fitting theme for Dragon's Dogma than Into Free.
If someone should become me it better be my loli, so she can fuck my loli witch wife.
Obviously. But don't ever think for a moment Into Free isn't a fucking Bop.
Do people even keep track of what generation Ur is on now?
Why would they? But Gamefaqs should have it, if anyone does.
First playthrough. Made a gay shota arisen/main pawn duo.
Have had a lot of fun with both of us being mages, but am switching to sorcerer or mystic knight, and keeping my pawn a mage.
I'm at level 40 and just found out about how inclinations work, and specd my pawn in Medicant and Utilitarian. Previously he managed to be Scather/Guardian. Battles are so fucking fun. It was already fun just playing and leveling, but now my party composition and main pawn's abilities are extra tight and synergistic.
This game is fucking amazing and it's made me realize I haven't played a good videogame in a very long time.
Strider -> Sorceror -> MA is the best run.
four warriors wrecking crew, two with elemental weapons to destroy anything magic based
Sorcerer without fail for every playthrough. Everytime I try something different I'll just end up with sorcerer again.
DDON private server WHEN?
this is pretty much maximum fun
Last time I killed Ur was like Gen 150 of Xbox 360, and I thought people kept track of the generations since it got stronger with each generation.
Fighter into assassin 200
The weapon variety is topnotch
Just wish Sword and Bow had more synergy, like they don't connect and compliment each other.
I feel the same. Even now that I don't have any vidya to play I don't feel like touching DD in which I invested so many hours.
I always fail to play it
> Starting the Game
> Complete most of the Quests
> Accept Witch Quest
> "Ahh, i gonna do it later"
> Start Escort
> Fail to do the Quest
> Delete Game
Traps for zoning while bowing
>evolved too much
Huh? What action game is on another level from it? My problem with replaying it is now is that it's just such a pain to keep all the shit RPG elements and mediocre maps from ruining it.
Its the worst open world game to exist. Its greatness lies in its combat and its dungeons, the open world is a slog.
Not sure about that, I move around while using a bow unless I'm playing Ranger.
big dude with big sword
preferably the sword from Berserk
You move them into the trap
If you block it does elemental damage based on your shield enchant and if you get a perfect parry they also instantly cast the basic spell of that element.
>guardian
Full Mage->Sorc playthrough. Took me forever to try it since all anyone ever talked about were the big, long cast-time spells but once I started using the other spells no one ever mentioned it became a ton of fun.
So are they something necessary, or redundant if using Ripostes?
>What's your favorite way to play this game?
class: assassin
waifu: mercedes
>enemies stop having hitboxes as soon as they die and fall over dead in the middle of your combo while your attacks go through them and hit air
this bothers me way too fucking much
Casters have synergy. If one of your pawns is casting a big spell and you start casting the same spell you'll start at their progress instead of at 0.
and speed the casting time as well. If you use the spell enough and have the proper inclination, your pawn will also join you. You can have 4 Sorcs charging the same spell. Absolutely beautiful.
What are you asking for? Your original question kind of confuses me.
Play as heal boi mage hire milfy pawns and watch them fight
by letting the numbers decide
I'm well aware of that but it's honestly pretty boring compared to loading up on a variety of short/long/utility spells. Comboing spells together off of necromancy hits, juggling enemies with comestion or stacking multiple miasmas ontop of each other, staying mobile with jump cancelled focus bolts and jump heavies, it's way more fun than just casting grand-tier spells over and over. Feels cool having a magical solution to every kind of problem you encounter.
Mystic Knight shields, do they actually serve any purpose or are the offensive stats, and enchants irrelevant?
