PC is eternal. It has no set form, it has no set boundaries. PC is not bound by a specific set of hardware or limited by arbitrary choice of software.
Where console after console must be brought forth to keep it alive and fresh, PC exists and glories in every development and every new game, without end and without restriction on how soon it can have it.
Console "peasants" exist for a reason - they spend money on hardware they cannot use in few years time as it becomes obsolete the moment they buy it and constantly yearn for that magical "finish line" that keeps changing. AMD's been on a roll lately so I dont doubt it. theres that one unreleased unnamed AMD GPU thats benching higher than 2080ti's, its probably the high-end navi GPU to complement the mid-range 5700XT (maybe will be called the 5900XT?) and maybe whatever's in the xbox is similar

the 5700xt was a small chip. It was only power hungry because it was clocked relatively high.
It was also RDNA 1.0, the new xbox and big navi will be RDNA 2.0, there's a bit of a performance boost for the new architecture, and it's a bigger chip.

Equivalent PC performance wise costs 1757€ to build, that's almost 2000 dollars. If this thing is 500€ it's an insane value, it'll basically make all the low-mid range PCs obsolete, they just won't be able to keep up.

It is literally impossible to compare PC hardware performance to console hardware performance because console devs use the hardware in much different ways, so different in fact that their games use different assets and settings that are not even available to the pc version.
