I meant V7. Kinda just blocked V6 from my mind. Frankly, 5 and 6 just bled together so much in being mostly shit that I hardly think of them as being separate.

I pulled this from the unhealthy amount of time I spent analyzing the show and its audience, back when I enjoyed it. The last half of V6, along with what I saw happen between then and V7, ended that for me.

Ruby was the only reason I watched the show, and what they did to her in V4 (making her edgy and angsty) made me drop it entirely. I don't think V1-3 were bad, honestly I'd argue most of it was pretty good if silly. But V4 just felt like the people writing didn't understand what made any of the characters good and just used wangst to introduced manufactured drama.
