Anyone who wants an all in one machine will be very satisfied I feel. Its looking like a top machine features wise. I'm incredibly impressed with what I've seen because it has features that not even the highest end PCs have like instant game resume and auto HDR tone mapping. Some seriously impressive piece of kit.

I know I can get better performance on PC, but I hate troubleshooting, so I usually play games on consoles instead.

Personally, I play more on Playstation and Switch than Xbox, since I enjoy Japanese games.

Nah, that's a child's sandbox. I can't mod retail games on an Xbone unless it's a game specific scenario like Skyrim or something and it isn't integrated into the main functionality of the console. For instance, I can't make a new dashboard GUI and use it short of hacking the console in some fashion to run unsigned code in the main OS.

Microsoft has at the very least promised that it's learned from this pricing mistake, with Phil Spencer stating that this time "we will not be out of position on power or price.” That doesn't mean that the console will be cheap, mind you, it just means the price point will be better aligned with the console's power and the price points of the competition.
