I need a new one. Is razer still dogshit?
Mouse thread
why do people still buy shit mice that only have like 5 buttons
They aren't terrible mice, but they are overpriced for sure, and usually have some gaudy shit on them.
You can do a lot worse, but you can do a lot better as well.
if you want one that looks like your picture but isn't poorly made and overpriced, get a zowie ec-1
They're cheap pieces shit that break for no goddamn reason.
lol i have the same deathadder from like 2013. i've replaced the switch twice with japanese omicrons. switch was like $1 to replace
that reminds me, i need to take the weights out of my g600
I'm trying to decide between the logitech MX master 3 or the master 2S. Is there an actual difference other than the former being slightly more expensive?
I've only had one razor product, and it was a keyboard I got as a gift. It lasted me for quite some time. It had a bunch of gaudy shit on it that I would have rather not have had, but it never broke down. I eventually gave it to a friend who was building a computer, and got myself a logitech one.
This + make sure it's one of the updated EC1-B/Tyloo models. I've also been using the S2 which is really good if you want an ambi shape with more ledge for grip on the right side
Fucking rubber on the side of this one falls off and there is no way to stick it on again, piece of shit.
>just bought a Logitech G102
It's good enough if I'm not a hardcore FPS player right?
Get the V2 if you want a Deathadder. Razer upped their game and is better than Logicrap now.
really? not what I've heard
not everyone plays mmos to make use of thousand buttons
also i prefer small and light mice
What did you hear then?
>razer
>I need a new one. Is razer still dogshit?
Razer Viper is the best mouse that came out this decade
but I use the G305
i have the master 3 and it's fucking great. the software is actually great, you can map any button to anything. the horizontal wheel is good for flicking through tabs. i was expecting the software to be typical logitech shit, but it's surprised me. i was going to buy a new mech KB but someone convinced me to try the MX keys. i bought it expecting to return it as i normally don't like chiclet keyboards, but it's really good too. would recommend user. i just have one USB C cable i use to charge the keyboard once every 3 weeks and the mouse once every 3 months.
>g-series
>sidebuttons straight from an office mouse
Logitech became a fucking joke.
Are there any logitech mice that have a button at the top left of the LMB like pic related? I've used it for ages but am thinking of getting a wireless one, but I don't want to go back on having a few buttons being pressable without having to move if possible
nobody uses sidebuttons
Was it kino?
I 'member when they were the cheap and sleek alternative to all LED the gaming shit, while still providing excellent sensors and build quality.
Now they release garbage like pic related for the same price or higher as Razer.
The ABSOLUTE best mouse that I used is the Corsair M45 Raptor. But it's hard to buy now, so I got it's successor the M65 Elite. The weight, and feel are heaven sent to me and I regret trying mouses outside of it's design when afterr I broke my M45 after half a decade(?) of use. If I didn't play osu and shooters it wouldn't have mattered much to me, but I can feel the difference. M45 is better though.
I do for macros.
people who dont exclusively play online shooters do
It was ludo actually.
Have you tried glue?
It has a plastic cover so glue doesn't work.
Redpill me on trackballs, what's a decent/cheap one to start with? I dont have much money.
There's different kinds of glue. I a 2-component epoxide based one to glue any kind of combination of glass, metal and rubber tubes.
It's a meme you retard, don't be a hipster.
>Is razer still dogshit?
When was it dogshit? I use a razer mouse and keyboard and they are pretty nice.
>have very limited space
>want to reduce wrist strain
I dont think they're a meme dude, has nothing to do with hipsterism either
Whatever you do, don't buy the Corsair Scimitar. I bought it because I thought I might have an actual use for all those buttons, but my first one started having problems with the scrollwheel in the first week. I got my money back, bought one from a different store, same fucking problem two weeks later. Meanwhile I've had my Logitech G400 for like 5+ years before that with 0 issues. The scimitar's quality is absolute trash.
You want an office HP one, got office HP keyboard, office HP mouse and earbuds. only a retard buys peripherals above minimum price.
t: used to competitive in an arena shooter, topped 0.1% before gotting lazy and quitting.
Yes avoid them. I bought a lancehead when they first came out because my deathadder lasted me for a good 7-8 years and was a great mouse. It started dropping left clicks within the first 3 months and both clicks drop now. The rubber pieces on the side are starting to deform and come apart as well. Just a shame because I really like the overall feel of the mouse if it wasn't for the defects.
kek, I'ma trade you this one for that one as i don't have that brainlet yet.
buy proper desk
Are you kidding? I always use sidebuttons. Your thumb's right there anyway, there's so much useful shit you can put on those.
as long it's structurally integer and large it can be literal redneck recycled driftwood.
>buying useless mice because useless devs couldn't design their useless game correctly
are you like an autist or something? they got uncanny precision and reaction times, would explain how you can use a low end mouse.
The price difference between the G305 and the G502/G903/GPW is silly
>Is razer still dogshit?
It's a meme. I've had my Deathadder 2013 for 6 years now and never had any issues with it.
Pls no bully.
Yes.
Autism is the only excuse for posting in this shithole anyway, if you're here and not autistic you're just plain retarded
what about schizophrenic spectrum? has a large behavior overlap with autism.
Whateve, replace autism in my original post with whatever mental illness
Thanks senpai
Does the intellimouse classic have a good sensor?
deathadder lasted me years and only broke down when a power surge ran through my laptop
now its twenty five fucking dollars, such a good mouse
With their newest one, the Deathadder V2 fixing the 3 problems I've had with their devices (raised buttons on top that by default switch DPI being easily bumpable, now sunken into the mouse), them making the mousewheel redone where it's harder to accidentally brush it (and thusly inputting a scroll), and, most importantly, the one issue that ACTUALLY constantly was an issue with all of their mice, they fixed the mouse switches. Now that they're using optical switches, you can't have static buildup in the mouse click switches, so that fixes the doubleclick issue, and as a side effect lowers mouseclick latency.
Currently still rocking my DA Elite, but when it breaks or when the V2 decreases in price, I'll certainly grab one of those.
>need to open up mouse for cleaning
>rubber on the bottom covering screws
I have:
>a razer mouse
>razer keyboard
>razer phone 2
>razer mousepad
>razer headphones
had them for YEARS, always worked perfectly and are still in ideal condition.
Razer has to be the only company in the world where you actually see you're paying for a quality producty, not the logo (like apple).
How is she nowadays? still as dead inside?
I'm waiting for the DeathAdder Ultimate. At least I hope they'll release one.
if it's quality you are after, you do research in the specs you want, enter them in a webshop and then sort for price - ascending. get the cheapest with atleast 4 stars. this is my strategy.
something like that, yeah, but with a 49 inch ultrawide and a 5.1 logitech sound system.
i love my razer stuff.
I hope you take that brand to your wrist, down the road. fucking shill.
Deathadder is fucking trash. Bought one three days ago and the mousewheel is already making squeaking noises. Waste of money.
