Every other boss from Melee has a spirit yet not Porky, even when there was a spirit event for Mother they didn't add a Porky spirit, and if he was in the capsule why not have it be enhanceable to the point where he has a spirit?

Because that's the whole point. Porky is stuck inside the Absolutely Safe Capsule and the Absolutely Safe Capsule is so strong that not even Galeem's beams of destruction could break it. It's a nod towards the series. It's Sakurai having some fun while making up spirits.
I agree with you 100% that it would be weird if Porky was a complete no show. But it's pretty clear that he's not and the fact that he wasn't in the Fighters Pass is proof enough of this.

We should discuss which companies make sense instead of specific characters. There’s too many variable options to pick from. For example Namco is 100% a given to get its second character but what about ArcSys? Kunio would have made the most sense to add as a character because he fits the smash style the most but now we’re left with Double Dragon, Guilty Gear and Blazblue and Blazblue sure as shit isn’t gonna happen. I feel like Arc may not get a character at all because of the Kunio spirit event.
