I beat him by the second time. He's hard but its absolutely doable. just stop trying to unga bunga and attack when he misses his moves or burst countered

Nose is a little wonky I guess, and the lips are little too dark and big. Plus your taste in eyebrows is fairly questionable, but overall you did an okay job. Certainly better than most/10.

I wanted to give her instagram thot lips. Also i suck with noses, if i make them too small it looks weird and the nostrils always look weird for me. Eyebrows i just took a broad base one and made them smaller.

Should I keep going high stance odachi? Or should I do low stance katana/sword? I show odachi let’s me hit the Amrita point easier, but low stance helps get away from everything.

you should be switching stance in combat based on the situation instead of staying in one stance
and with the flux skill you get more ki when you switch stances while ki pulsing

Spear is best weapon and if you disagree then you're still cool because every weapon is fucking great and I wish I could be great with all of them

I'm so torn between refighting them over and over to get skills and just progressing because I'm still fairly early on. Really surprised at how early you get double Spirits though, but that entire fight was pure kino and that mission was incredibly huge.
Both. The whole point of the stance system is that you can change at any point you want to adjust to the changing situations and requirements of a fight, and if you want you can add a second weapon into that mix as well.

Okay but which would be better for Yatsu. Odachi or Katana. I played the first one so I know about switching stances mid combat, just witch would be better for damage is my question.

I started out as 1kat and hatchets. Then i realized spear + kusa was the way to go

That mission was fucking great. I didnt have a whole lot of trouble with the enemies introduced (snek necks were in nioh 1 dlc), but goddamn did it take me a long while to complete while exploring everything.

The bottom of the pit was a great throwback and pleasant surprise I didnt see coming.

I heard Yoshi-P is in it.

I would say mid stance, then switch to low. Keep distance, when it slithers,hit its head with mid, step in and wreck it with flurry with quick strikes. Uses ippon datara or that walls skills, if you have them to stagger it and destroy arms at same time

Hatchets are probably going to be the next weapon I start using once I've got all the skills in my current two, I really enjoyed what I used of them in the Beta and a bit of the LCT.

I noticed the lock-on marker changes when you charge the hatchet throw. Made it much easier to handle mid-fight.

Yes. It's a guard that you need to time just right to trigger a counterattack against Burst Counters, otherwise it works as a normal guard. It's also the fastest overall Burst Counter, which lets it act as just a cancel, which I guess would mainly help with trying to use certain Ninjutsu and Onmyo rapidly.

Almost every grave is glaive or odachi. Are those weapons just THAT popular?

I was mainly talking about Phantom but yeah every Burst Counter (and Yokai Skill) is extremely useful due to the cancel property. Feral's kind of odd though, it's not technically iframes it just takes no damage for the animation, but you still take Ki damage. Still, with the distance it has you can just move out of the way entirely.

Switchglaive is the new hotness that flips between different modes and is all fancy in general. Odachi is a big ass sword that is extremely easy to use at the most basic level and barely anyone seems to care to do anything beyond that, despite it being what the game is built around and most rewarding of.
