Planning on 3600+5700xt

Attached: spec.png (468x391, 21.72K)

what do you think gentlemen? is it bad?

Attached: poorpc.jpg (475x467, 48.23K)

Bought it in late 2017 and to this day it still can run games like RE2, Doom and Star Wars The Fallen order at decent settings. Im genuinely surprised but i'll have to buy a desktop soon if i want to play the new generation of games. That said i only have a budget of 500$ so I'll have to buy a low-end PC and upgrade it as time goes

bro a ryzen 5 2600+rx570 combo is a significant upgrade from that. Look into it if you're trying for a budget gaming pc

Built it in 2012. Only replaced the gpu when the old 680 stopped working.

First build plz rate. Thinking about upgrading to a next gen i9 or whatever is the best later down the line.

Bros how do I cool it off...

I have 300 bucks for a mid range graphics card, what should I buy?

Attached: speccy.png (799x559, 37.52K)

Also CPU is at 4.2ghz

You must never clean your PC and/or have terrible ventilation.

Attached: asdfgsdfg.png (660x525, 39.31K)

I just cleaned it like two weeks ago, I use up so many cans of air.
I guess I'll give it another cleaning tomorrow

I'm proud of this system, it's gotten me 2-3 years with stellar performance.

Just built this to play RDR2
I only spent 180 bucks, smashes PS4pro and Xbox1X
Probably the best build ive ever done.
I just dont understand how ANYONE could spend for the 300 dollars for VIDEOGAMES lmao.

Use grizzly kryonaut and buy a Hyper 212 evo for much lower cpu temps.

Replace that thermal paste, is the OEM card? GET A NEW SHROUD IF SO, you can also undervolt it bro, and do custom fan curves, u r welcome

In that case, you need to apply thermal paste and use a good brand. That and cleaning up your wires so that proper air ventilation can come in and out of your case.

Oh god I'm a total brainlet, I've never even seen thermal paste before

Attached: nyeh.png (1000x800, 102.98K)

I get by

Attached: PcSpecs.png (432x186, 10.13K)

Its not that hard. Just look up a youtube tutorial for cpu and gpu thermal paste. Those high temps mean that your thermal paste is all but dried out on both the cpu and gpu

I'm already getting a GTX 1660 amp and a EVGA 600W 80 Plus Certified 100-W1-0600-K1 Power Supply. Other than that, what should I do to play Doom Eternal?

Why the fuck are you getting a new gpu when your cpu is SO trash, man those things suck so bad, it will actually hold back that 1660, shoulda went with intel as my I7 2600 is still going strong

Anons why are you still on 60hz? Your hardware can do so so much more.

ok I'll get an I7 2600 too. anything else?

It’s a very good combo for 1440p ultra

>buying an i5 in 2020 over literally any equally priced AMD chip
Lmaoing at your life senpai

For a mini ITX, it's really great. Now that I have a comparable laptop though, my next build will probably be a mid ATX again. I do miss being able to put 3.5" HDDs inside the case.

Attached: spec2020.png (740x559, 42.05K)

i spent a few months pay on this and the most demanding things i play are fucking card games

Attached: speccy.png (518x474, 27.6K)

Lmaoing @ your misclick faggot, try again

You're probably just exaggerating your recent habits senpai. Don't worry, you'll find a new game soon that will push your hardware more. I believe in you.

Dunk @ me u fgt ngga

Same reason I am on 1080p, it is good enough and I love never having to even think if a game can run. Eventually I will go full 4K but for the next few years I am more than happy with my system.

I was thinking 1080p/144hz. Any suggestions?

Built it last year, I've been meaning to get more storage but otherwise it's been serving me great.

And of course I forget the image.

Attached: specc.png (566x418, 17.86K)

It's been serving me fine, but just ordered a 2060 super, new Z390 Mobo, and a better PSU. Had been holding off but something is telling me prices are going to inflate for a while and figured, what the fuck, and went ahead.

Attached: Speccy.png (765x538, 43.86K)

Playing anything at 1440p 144hz ultra is really nice

Attached: 2080ti.png (778x625, 46.05K)

do it, Navi drivers have been fixed

have you used high refresh before? adaptive sync makes it completely unnecessary to run at a constant 144fps, you'll fluctuate between 85 to 100+ fps and it looks incredibly smooth

so I highly recommend going 1440p/144hz, the 5700xt can handle it and good high refresh 1080p panels are so rare

>all these 144hz monitors
What would you anons recommend for a 144hz, 1440p monitor for under 400? Dont care for response time.

OC @ 5 GHz

Attached: file.png (541x424, 32.96K)

I paid about 350 bucks for this.

Where did you get it?

I'm working for a liquidator, we buy amazon return pallets and as a employee I can sometimes buy shit.

Lucky lad you got a bargin

>can't recognize which i7/ryzen you have installed
>"SONY TV"
>(Unknown (SSD))
>"realtek high definition audio"
>"Dual-Channel unknown"
>optical drive not hidden by default
Why the fuck would anyone use this piece of shit software

>don't care for response time
you should

My build is nearly complete.
I just need to save for a better gpu now.

Dell S2719DGF

Got this in 2018 on a 1440p/144hz monitor. No i7/i9 in stack when I built it after my bulldozer build shit the bed. Probably going to pick up an i7/i9 down the road but this i5 pretty much stomps everything and it's not a workstation.

>27" TN
>horrible black uniformity
no

LG has a bunch of great cheap 1440p/144hz ones, look it up

I'm in need of an upgrade. I specifically wanted a better CPU but I'm worried the motherboard and power supply would need an upgrade in turn.

Attached: speccy.png (570x431, 22.11K)

I won't need an upgrade in a while.

The graphics card is actually 8 Gb, Speccy can't see it for some reason.
