Yeah, not gonna lie, a lot of Sega games have good music.

Is it fair to count Madworld as a 'SEGA' game?

Sega does Nintendo music better than Nintendo.

Based. I wish more games had a hip hop aesthetic.
>10/10 aesthetic
>had all of two games in its series and then was never touched again
i'd say it's the epitome of a SEGA game
Well, it got new art for its 11th anniversary that makes Jack look young as fuck.
Should have posted the best example of SEGA doing what Nintendon't

Konami
Didn’t they steal Michael Jackson songs for Sonic games?
No, they had MJ and his crew compose music for Sonic.
No, they had Michael Jackson MAKE songs for Sonic games
No, he worked on Sonic 3 willingly but the pedo charges came out at the same time so Sega had to remix the music he made and pretend he never worked on it to save face.
>steal
No, licensed his work. But MJ didn't like how the Genesis sounded so they took his name off (along with another Band's name). They still used the work though since it was legal at the time.
But there was no forward thinking on things like remakes so it's a legal gray area limbo until one side moves. We did find out recently though that those songs used created by MJ were an afterthought and the original songs for those levels were the same as the PC version (And earlier ROM was found that had the PC ver music).
SEGA has, without a doubt, created the best game soundtrack of all time. What game that may be is subjective, but no matter what, it's a SEGA game. I'm personally of the opinion that game would be either JSR, SA2, or PSO.
>not SoR2
also JSRF > JSR
Way too many good ones, couldn't make a choice. Bandai Namco, Nintendo, id Software, Valve, Ubisoft, etc.
Cant choose. Just Sonic alone, from CD to 3k to Adventure to Heroes to Unleashed...Rush, better stop.
Then there are things like PD

See the post below yours. It was less the Home Alone: Lost my virginity in Neverland and more about a lackluster sound chip
>Make simple throwaway spinoff games for some side cash
>Also have them include some of the most kino tracks in vidya
SEGA WHAT THE FUCK

IO Interactive, the creators of Hitman come close enough. They hired Jesper Kyd for the first 4 games and he gave us absolute music kino. They fired him for Hitman Absolution onwards though, and the series soundtrack has never been the same. There are some good tracks in the 2 newest Hitman games but they still dont come close to the excellent music that Kyd made for the early games.

Just listen to all that good shit he's done. Such a God tier soundtrack.
All of these are fucking 10/10, especially the last 2
Agreed
Konami had Castlevania, Contra, Gradius and MGS
I don't think any other company had so many memorable tracks

Simon Viklund who composed most of the music for Payday 2. The game is pretty mediocre without the soundtrack.

It's always on sale during Steam Sales Events. Overkill Software had to revive it because they were on the brink of collapse due to incompetence from the higher ups. The game is still active 24/7 still even though it released in 2013.
Is it really that good?
I'm good at FPS but don't like it too much.
It's a typical CoD clone with bank heist on it?
Not even Yuzo Koshiro's best soundtrack. It's still easily one of the best of all time though.
>Not even Yuzo Koshiro's best soundtrack
of course not
because it was Motohiro Kawashima's best.

I still love the sounds of The Ooze

>Personally don't like this one

It's really just a co-op arcadey horde shooter in the same vein as Left 4 Dead if you want to be bare bones about it. It's peer to peer so there's no servers and the host has all of the power, but that also means you can mod the game out for solo play. I wouldn't recommend using cheaty type mods for online play since that just rains on everyone else's parade and you look like a douche doing it.
Cool, I really like l4d2
YOU WANT ROUND 2?
Just look up some game play videos of Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 and you'll instantly notice the similarities with enemy NPCs.
your top 5 is very very good too
GG dude
oh, no more songs :(
There's also a tie-in with L4D in the heist called No Mercy in which Code Silver is the levels I linked earlier.
you literally can't
