Forte has many unique plot lines for story bosses and cutscenes as well. So have her tag along as you progress. You wont regret getting to see her cool side.

how do I convince myself that I don't have to rush through the game and beat the water temple on Spring 5 (at lvl 17 on hell difficulty)?
that fucking all-direction lightning attack can just KO me instantly if i'm unlucky (like if the boss does it from the middle of the screen). First boss phase is EZ otherwise.

I wonder what story dialogue the other characters have special dialogue have in the first two dungeons. No one will ever see it unless they purposely gimp their progression, but there must be some for sure.

On hell mode you actually need to keep your gear in check and have party members. I found using a wand and fireball worked well for earlier bosses, before you can reasonably tank hits.

All the characters have unique dialogue for bringing them along. Jones and Nancy say some interesting stuff about finding people in dungeons.

The lightning moves have tells. Just don't be greedy with attacks and dash away. It's the triple charges that always did me in. Even though you can also see them coming, the boss doesn't leave himself open and can do anything else straight out of them. It's horseshit.

Play it safe and just spam dodon beam or whatever its called until he dies.

The axe weapon from the chest in the dungeon is actually really nice for hit and run. Beating the horse wouldn't even be a possibility with the broadsword.
but i've failed on 2nd phase multiple times now and i just wonder why I feel so driven to savescum when there's no reason to rush.

Seriously, where the fuck is Ambrosia? I've tried saving/reloading, doing the warp glitch, killing that stupid fucking tree and coming back. WHERE THE FUCK IS AMBROSIA

The DLC is just an order that makes anyone with a swimsuit put it on. On the 3DS you can use swimsuits on yourself and anyone in your party when you have a closet, so it barely makes a difference. With a closet you can even put on your wedding outfit and pretend to have two wives, so I'd argue it's even better and more convenient than an order you have to turn on and off.

Collect all the rune spheres and go back after to Ambrosia's resting place. That's what I did before trying to farm the dead tree's drops which surprisingly only dropped apples for me so far so I kind of gave up on it. Then

You farm to make money and improve stats to explore dungeons with your waifu who you marry and have a comfy farming life with. You can suplex enemies. You can abuse arcane bullshit in the crafting system to make overpowered weapons. You cannot marry the dragon.

I've already done all that. That's why I'm asking where the fuck she is.

It's impossible for her to show up after you kill the tree and advance the story line in the same day, let a day pass and if the tree shows up kill it and come back up to Ambrosia.

I'VE ALREADY FUCKING DONE THAT. I killed the tree as part of the story ages ago. I'm in act 2 already. There is only the tree. It doesn't matter how many times I go in there and leave, or warp out of the dungeon, or fuck off home and come back later, Ambrosia isn't fucking there. If it was an issue of being story related, I wouldn't be fucking asking.

Newlywed mode would be best described as a new town event with another short animation like the character introductions and a new picture. I had to fight some monsters in the one I did.

Is there a list somewhere of when people hang out with each other? There was some unique dialog between Meg and Forte while Meg was visiting Forte's house and i didn't screencap it.
I've been checking daily but Meg just never visits.
