Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Renegade Squadron.
The Megaman Powered up and Maverick Hunter X are good platformers. Maverick Hunter X is a bit lacking compared to the original, but is still enjoyable.
>Renegade Squadron
I tried that recently and couldn't stand how slow paced it was and the constant framerate drops.
Patapon 1-2
Half-Minute Hero
FFT (it totally counts)
If it's any consolation, I played it mostly on my Vita, where you can use the right stick to emulate the face buttons, with controls set to face-book-look. The heavy auto aim helps.
Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code
Battlefront 2
Started playing FFT the other day and it's been great. I played Peace Walker a shit ton when it came out and loved it so that might be my favorite by default. I've been playing the PSP a lot recently though and that might change when i dig deeper into the library. MHFU is a new favorite of mine as well.
>Slow pace
You're doing it wrong. I remember playing this online before it got taken over by hackers. Jump packs, shotguns, and bowcasters everywhere. It was fast paced as fuck and I miss every second of it. Git gud.
Peace walker
Rengoku 2
Bounty hounds
Ace combat x
Not in any order. It’s been ages but those are the games I still remember enjoying.
I got a lot of mileage out of this. Probably one of the best fighting games on the system.
>framerate drops
Stop playing it in pc idiot
Manhunt 2 and gitaroo man
Pump it up Zero Portable
Browser
Crisis Core was always my favourite. I was also a tasteless faggot that liked Underground Rivals too, so I'm terrified of replaying it in case it doesn't hold up to nostalgia.
Current favourites in my vita's psp library are Motorstorm Arctic Edge, Me and my Katamari, and 3nd Impact.
>Browser
My fucking nigga. Back in the days when there was only one computer for the entire family, I used my psp browser constantly for Yas Forums, 7chan, 420chan, Desuchan, you get the idea. Upgraded to the slim just so it could handle bigger threads better.
This but instead of Yas Forums I was looking at porn.
Those were the days, I even did some fuckery using the online radio station plus having two other tabs browsing shot
It's worth it for Vile Mode IMO. He needs his own game, Megaman V or whatever.
>implying he wasnt browsing /s/b/h/d/
LUCT and Dissidia Duodecim.
What porn sites were you using? The whole reason I was on imageboards to begin with was that they were the only porn sites the psp could handle.
>Online radio
Fuck I forgot it could do that. Getting Split Infinity Radio working on that crappy player was magic.
PSP had so many great fighting games.
Dissidia
>PC
I played it on my PSP.
I feel like everyone saw that the PSP was portable, strong enough to play playstation games, and had wifi to play against people nearby and went ham into trying to make the PSP the dedicated fighting game console.
Oh, I was looking at random pics or rule34. Not videos. I just never went to imageboards.
It's just a shame the D-Pad wasn't the best.
Racing games too. I still have no idea how Sony pulled this absolute unit of a game off.
Star Wars Battlefront II
Peter Jackson's King Kong
Twisted Metal: Head-On
Medal of Honor: Heroes
Wipeout Pure
Looking back on it, I really didn't stick around too long for the PSP; everything I owned was from the first year or two.
Did the same shit with my DSi because we were poor as fuck.
Used to sit behind my school's building late at night alone hogging their wifi and looking at flipnotes because we had internet at home.
Moved onto Yas Forums and fanfiction-net literotica after mom got us internet.
Did the same shit with my 3DS. Ended up watching several thousand hours of YouTube on it.
Anyways to keep on topic my favourite PSP games are Megpoid the Music#, Persona 3 Portable and Freedom Unite.
Vita has a bunch of good fighting games, too. The best systems for portable fighting
burnout legends
plus the better d-pad only makes the PSP games better to play
Back in the days when wifi wasn't as common but was often unsecured. I leached off my neighbors wifi for a while, pressing up against the window for better reception, before we got our own router.
>Twisted Metal: Head-On
My nigga. Only flaw is that Calypso design.
Goddamn both these games had amazing soundtracks.

maverick hunter x blows. never have i seen a remake that sucks in every single regard, but there it is
And if you have a hacked Vita, Adrenaline adds all sorts of goodies.
MHFU easily
The christmas i got my PSP, I used my Christmas money to buy a wifi router my parents barely knew what wifi was.
I wouldn't say it blows. I'd say it's super bland for a remake though.
It really does. For example, going from playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX on PSP to Vita is like night and day.
Tag force series
Naruto shippuden ultimate Ninja impact
If I wanted to just play X1, yeah, I'd just play X1, however Maverick Hunter X has some interesting additions that make it unique and enjoyable in its own way. Such as obtaining Zero's Buster is actually different from just getting the capsule one, Hard mode exists and is enjoyable, and then Vile Mode is an interesting twist on playing through the game, and has a pretty cool final boss.
Plus the Day of Sigma and few anime cutscenes that exist are of pretty good quality.
>Alpha 3 Max
Patrician taste.
>No-one has posted LocoRoco
Tenkaichi Tag Team
MHFU, Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles, FF: Dissidia 012, Hot Shots Golf, Valkyria Chronicles 3, SD Gundam G Generation Overworld, Super Robot Wars Alpha Portable.
>download demos
>play them before school cause i get there like 20 mins early
>LocoRoco Demo
>SOUL
AC:X was great. I never tried the sequel though.
Oh, and Digimon World Re:Digitize too
Ikkitousen Xross Impact
How good is Dracula X compared to other CV games?
DJMAX series
It's a nice little combo package. A remake of Rondo of Blood, the original Rondo and SOTN. It's a little silly that you have to unlock the original games, but you can always just download a save off of GameFAQs or something.
Been a long time since I played it, but I remember it being pretty solid. One of the better classic-vania styled games. And once you beat the remade game you unlock the original as well.
You don't have to beat the remake. You just have to go to two different secret areas to unlock either game.
What went wrong? Sony could've eventually ended up with a Switch several years ahead of Nintendo.
the only way it played full speed on psp is if you overclocked it
shame how bad the dpad was for fighting games
A mix of doing something too early (like the microsoft smartphone) and being stupid (like expensive as fuck proprietary storage and UMDs).
