If I had to, for A 10-12 hour RPG about coming to terms with the death of a loved one; you'd wander around a surreal, dreamlike environment not unlike Lordran or the like in the hopes of slaying the big bad, only for the final dungeon to be a pristine, heavenly area; the final boss would be your loved one portrayed in the form of an archangel; the ending line would be something similar to Max Payne 2's.
I disagree; you can only assume why someone likes those 9 games when it's just a static image with nothing to explain it.

You would want to make an action game with a real morality system that matters, possibly one that measures how brutally you treat enemies.
R-rated road trip movie but in a fantasy setting.
A way to get discussions going in here is better than just dropping ratings and hoping people start to talk naturally after 25-50 people post their charts.

For you, I'd imagine a hack and slash that switches genre and perspective; 3D brawler, 2D platformer, etc. As far as plot goes, I'd imagine a gang of exiled angels forming a rock band and going on a tour through afterlives of all cultures and the like.

The story has to be about a detective attempting to solve a crime, in which the player travels around the world Deadly Preminition/RDR2 style, collecting clues. The player, once they have accumulated a decent set of evidence, opens their journal, triggers a jrpg-esque battle, and fights said clues in combat encounters where each phase is a visual conceptualization of the process of deductive reasoning. The enemy design would be in the style of Disco Elysium, while combat would take inspiration from DMC5.

Let me be honest. SOTN, for all its praise and worth, doesn't exactly feel like its doing the Castlevania franchise any justice. I don't feel the same sense of euphoria when playing other Castlevania games when compared to this. The plot and characters just seem...so goofy, in retrospect (and I don't mean the voice acting, I just mean Richter getting brainwashed, the Succubus, Maria, and all that). The game still plays well, but if I wanted to be knee deep in the franchise of the series, I would rather play Aria of Sorrow, Order of Ecclesia, or IV to get my Castlevania's worth.
In addition, this 3x3 bread is meant to interpret what plot or game each user would have based on their tastes alone.

Not really into Souls style much. Kamiya's minigame spam isn't my favorite thing about him either, but I'd have optional sub-games that would be full-fledged arcade-style games though if I had a game of a large budget.

King > Plague > Shovel = Specter > Showdown
Plague has the best movement but King has the best level design and incredible polish. Specter has amazing music and cool flashbacks but the level design railroads you too hard into one path and the only difficulty is doing all the moves in a row.

I'm not keen on SotN myself, as the game is too easy and the item placement is pretty bad, not to mention that the inverted castle is shit. Aria of Sorrow is the superior game, and no other Metroidvania in the series lives up to it.

Together they make their way towards an arena that supposedly holds an artifact that controls the flow of time.

Action game (sort of Monster Hunter in that you take a quest to take on a big demon boss) in which you can choose to Save or Sacrifice enemies and there's different factions that do things different ways with a story that's really well-written in general. Even just the backstories of all the bosses can be heart-wrenching.

Souls-like with a heavy emphasis on resource management. Grimdark setting, possibly edgelord story.
Some kind of classic adventure/VN hybrid with tons of branching paths and different endings to encourage replayability.
Super-tight and fast paced 2D action platformer. Possibly one in which you play as an explosion wielding a gun.
Whatever you make it'll probably be both a cult classic as well as more fun to watch lets-plays of than actually play.
A good modern thief game set in a dystopian cyberpunk future. There may or may not be supernatural elements involved.
