It is pretty funny how every single Sonic game made from 1998 up until the release of Mania got terrible reviews and bad feedback from fans. The moment they brought the real Sonic back, they got acclaim again for the first time since 1994. I wonder what that could mean?

The word "Classic" refers to something judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind, so calling Mania a classic game is like calling BOTW classic as well.

I think everyone looked pretty funky in the Adventure games, probably a consequence of technology, but i wish i had more knowledge on games at the time to know if the cause is only having barely realized tech to work with or actual incompetence
