Thoughts on this one? I normally really like tactical games based around a small squad. How's the game pull it off though?

I played the demo and it was pretty neat. The devs are making the new desperadoes game which looks like an improvement.

I was literally just reading up about that game after making this thread and seeing what else the devs had done. Hadn't heard of those games before -- 2 seemed to get pretty weak reviews, but 1 god solid one. Either/both of those worth checking out?

played it in the origin free premium month and it is nice. not as food as desperados but still pretty solid.

I enjoyed the game, but I played it on console and switching between all the different characters to do coordinated stealth orders on a controller was a complete chore. Imagine it's a lot better on PC.

GOTY desu

just play the demo and see it for yourself

the little kid is broken as fuck

what this guy said, re the first 2 desperados games very good?

This is one of the hardest games you'll ever play.

It took me a while to get into it, but once you get past the first level or so and get the hang of it, it's actually one of the best games ever made. The campaign is actually super long and you start feeling for the characters.

But like I said, be prepared to be incredibly filtered.

not as good as Commandos 2, but still pretty fucking great.
