Is Bloodborne objectively the best game of this generation?

No.

If you can compare it to another game that is almost exactly like it then it's objectively not a 10/10. NieR: Automata is the GOTD

Yes

You can't objectively call anything the best, but it was definitely my favorite.

>NieR: Automata is the GOTD
this seems to be an opinion exclusive to brainlets, weebs and coomers.

no because this bullshit is 24fps all the time

*blocks your path*

>caring about fps
Do you actually play games?

Not even the best ps4 exclusive.

Replayed it 2 weeks ago after a 4 year break.
I still had the best fun with it. Did a 99 arcane build for once in my life and It was fun as hell.
After that I did a bloodtinge build with the chikage and I felt like the bloody samurai I always wanted to be.

The game holds up nicely. Replayability and atmosphere is still top notch

Yes.

Wrong. It's the best game ever.
Absolute shit taste. Nier is for brainlets.

no nigger

Yes

Yes which is also sad.

I thought the bosses were boring and shitty.

It's the PS4 movie experience, my friend.

Bloodborne is objectively the best game.

Yes, but replayability is a problem after you've tried all the different build (which doesn't really detract from the overall score).

How active are BL43 invasions nowadays? Is Chalice Dungeon spelunking with randoms fun? Is there anything else that makes jumping back in worth it?

no

Best game this generation was either Marble It Up, Gunpoint or Talos Principle

>if you can compare it to another game that is almost exactly like it
But no other game is like it, the closest is Dark Souls and even then it's very clearly different and leans towards different mechanics and skill sets. It's story is also way more straight forward.

If you play Dark Souls 3 with a Dex build it's somewhat similar but still there's a world of difference. Bloodborne encourages greed and high risk high reward with trading shots, Dark Souls does not. Dark Souls can be played that way, but it's mechanics are not specifically designed to push for that style of gameplay.

i'm at the very beginning and just got an armor set and fortified my axe.
i still have fortify thingys for the gun, should i upgrade it? would give +10 blood dmg

yes

Bros how do I beat the Blood-starved Beast?

Guns aren't worth upgrading unless you've got a bloodtinge build or arcane build. If you're using the axe which is a strength weapon then no, don't upgrade the gun. Keep pouring it into your axe.

Unironically agree, Bloodborne had a better aesthetic but Ds3 had better bosses and multiplayer.
DS1>Ds3>=BB>Sek>Des>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DS2

BB is still my fave. Especially after the DLC was released. So fucking good.

I love it, but I think DS3 is better overall
DS3 has more build variety, more weapons and better multiplayer
Also chalice dungeons are a weak point

I feel like the one of the few people who loved chalice dungeons.I really liked making rotted/fetid/cursed ones and just going spelunking with random people. Great bosses and enemies not found in the main game.

>99 arcane build
mein neger
Currently doing this as well. Can't wait to get to the MLGS. Right now I'm packing logarius wheel

my main problem with them is that you have to do the fixed ones with every new character you start. It just gets repetitive.

dodge towards its right side

that's true. Although I have maximum character slots with all of that shit unlocked though. That's how obsessed I was.

>no because this bullshit is 24fps all the time
It drops to 18, user.

get close to it and always just strafe forward and to the left. It will miss pretty much all of its attacks. No need to actually hit the dodge button unless it tries the grab.

To me it's unironically the best work of art of this decade:
>10. It's Such a Beautiful Day
>9. Adventure Time
>8. Tatami Galaxy
>7. Bleeding Edge
>6. Kill Six Billion Demons
>5. Twin Peaks: The Return
>4. Hollow Knight
>3. Tragedy of Man
>2. Nier: Automata
>1. Bloodborne

Besides the Eileen and Albert quest is there anything else that's missable in the game for getting platinum.

>Best Combat
Sekiro

its too dark, cant see shit on my telly
>inb4 buy curtains
no, i need my sun

I had that problem. Turns out my tv was on some setting that tried to make blacks extra black. I turned that off and it was fine. make sure your tv isn't in some weird color mode.

Despite the performance issues and badly executed dungeons it is my favorite game of all time

I remember hating the nightmare sections of this game because I kept getting invaded, people were shitting on my STR/SKL Ludwig holy sword character because I was probably bad at the game.

I made a really optimized Lost Chikage build with top tier gems really early a couple months later and stunlocked and fucked every invader up in like 2 seconds with it. More satisfying than most of the bosses to me.

use serrated and fire paper

it ran pretty well on the pro, I got one to play BB last year and it was amazing. yea it was 30fps but pretty perfect 30fps

What are those? I have the axe and spear.

YEP COCK
Garbage fan service
Weeb faggotry
Only a shallow faggot puts these features above the incredible world of BB

>better bosses
Biggest meme ever. DS3 bosses are mostly generic mediocre schlock save with some difficulty added in during the second half.

serrated weapons and fire deal extra damage to beasts
saw spear is a serrated weapon
you can find a few fire papers (buff items) in old yharnam

Thanks, I'll give it a try along with the other advice from the thread.

McDungeons are one of the defining features of Bloodborne. Near endless content and comfy as well.

It's a meme game that was taylor-made for reddit

More isn't good. Bloodborne took the bloated amount of weapons in DeS and DaS and crunched them down then made each of them unique and interesting. The Saw Cleaver alone has far more personality than any one weapon in DaS3. Chalice Dungeons are crap but they are completely optional.

>taylor
What are some non-reddit games?

Bloodhoune is an 8th gen game we are in the 9th gen so no it isn't because it's not on a current gen system

The biggest meme ever are Bloodborne bosses. Old hunters saved it in this regard but all bosses from the basic game are DS2 tier except for gascoine and gehrman.

it is

>loses to witcher 3

Attached: 1583046895266.jpg (1024x903, 64.44K)

no that's Witcher 3.

What other site do you frequent?

v i did it. i just beat my first souls game boss, the cleric beast. so mmany anons told me to keep going and now i did it
damn i'm really happy

DLC aside none of Bloodborne's bosses are difficult, hell half the bosses in the DLC aren't even difficult.
The only boss I died to on my first playthrough was Ebrietas and she's a bad fight with frenzy slapped on in a desperate attempt to be "the super difficult secret boss"

Bloodborne is cool if you like atmosphere and music but the bosses, enemies, general combat and world are extremely boring, not to mention the story is nonexistant and boils down to "lol go hunt some beasts because I don't know, that's just what you do" culminating in the epic crescendo: a randomly placed piece of paper telling you to kill a baby. Very edgy, very cool!

>biggest meme ever are Bloodborne bosses
I don't agree. While there are a few stinkers like witches and mystery niggers, most of the bosses are top tier and challenging. DS3 on the other hand has way more meme bosses in the main game.
