What fighting game are you currently learning?
What fighting game are you currently learning?
Well, there's this one fighting game I've recently gotten into called "I Want To Fuck The Ever Living Shit Out of That Tiddy Monster", but it's pretty hard.
UNICLR
what is that in the image?
SFV, but the butt ugly playdoh graphics, weird stubby rushdown meta and characters piss me off so much, Im considering just jumping to 3rd Strike and Vampire Savior.
I will never understand why people enjoy tod airdashers
Imagine sticking your head between those large and warm tits, feel her sweat and smell her underboob haha
Probably because you're misusing the term ToD

No idea on resources for learning 3S, don't play it myself.
Only really been playing Tekken and Melee. Been thinking about picking up Samsho or GBFV.
I just want a draph fucktoy.
Hell it doesn’t even have to be a draph. I just need someone, anyone, to let me use their body as I please.
super turbo, usf4, kof14
half a healthbar of damage off a confirm is todshit
Nice blog.
>half a health bar
>tod
first time playing fighting games, huh?
Tekken's not a fighting game
it isn't a tag game, so yeah, it's todshit when you can keep your opponent in stunlock for 30 seconds and take off half a healthbar
>half a healthbar of damage off a confirm is todshit
no, because upon that first touch they would be dead, hence the name
It's a bigass, distance-based confirm into using two ex moves and a super at the end that's only accessible at 30% health. It's not really going to happen in a regular match.
Tekken 7 is a predictable follow-up to a series that's never aimed particularly high, it may please casual gamers for a day or two but the stagnant ongoing series is definitely in the second tier of fighters way below Capcom or NetherRealm Studios games, and it's seriously getting old and tired. The lack of depth and subtlety and the emphasis on the offensive, rather than the defensive, puts this squarely two notches below the best in the genre, the "who-can-get-their-super-move-off-first" gameplay leaves much to be desired from a serious fighting game player. Like the prequels, Tekken 7 is geared towards casual gamers and anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, DoA and MK games have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!
If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.
Based.
>Im considering just jumping to 3rd Strike
Thats funny i was just playing a 3rd strike and i only got depressed because of how shit I was.
Hey its Nubi, how's bloody roar treating you?
Street Fighter 5
This is my first "real" fighting game (only previous experience is smash) so I'm rusty. That being said, I am starting to get dp motions to be consistent as well as a few combos.
I main Ryu since I want to learn fundamentals before jumping to more complex characters. I lose a lot, but that's expected and part of the fun. Losing makes winning feel that much better.
Played a bit of sf2/a/3 on the ps3 collection I like alpha the most, but online is dead so I'm stuck with sp which I don't mind since there's a good amount of stuff to do.
>But fightcade
That involves roms and I'm one of the buyfags who doesn't like pirating.
this but i just want a titfuck
If you bought the collection you already payed for the games, see , even linked a rom collection with every fightcade game.
>Yas Forums still seething about tekken
what is the most mash-friendly game out there? I just want to play arcade mode now and then and can't be bothered to learn a character
I guess that's a fair point. Now to see if I can actually get online to work this time Yes I tried it many times before and every time online refused to work
Tekken is pretty mash friendly, you won't go super far but you can get by early on by tiers alone. If Leroy wasn't nerfed I would say you could get far abusing his bullshit.
Mike stole Gootecks hair.
Do you mean literally? It should work normally after you download it. If you mean more figuratively use a wired connection, no one wants to play against a wifi shitter.
I think plenty of games offer rushdown characters. Granblue, Koihime and Samurai Shodown are pretty easy execution for basic stuff games if that's what you mean.
For 3D, Soul Calibur is a good choice too.
GBFV because she makes my peepee hard
SamSho is the opposite of mash friendly, punishes are huge in that game.
Both.
>Do you mean literally? It should work normally after you download it
That's what I thought, but I never got it to work. Maybe I just downloaded outdated roms or something? Not sure how exactly fightcade handles that stuff desu.
>If you mean more figuratively use a wired connection, no one wants to play against a wifi shitter.
Yeah I would if my motem wasn't on the entire opposite side of the house as well as being on a different floor. I am part of the problem I know but I don't really have any other options.
I wish it was Granblue Versus, but I got no money.
Thought by mash-friendly they meant not too combo-heavy but you're right in that you still have to be careful to not over-extend yourself out.
Fighting games are shit, are dead and the only relevant person in the fighting scene is a gay nigger furry with "sonic" in his name.
You are all fucking retards.
Specific roms are needed. When you download it it'll look like this. On the left you will see game titles as pictured here, these are the names of the specific roms you need. In the collection link I had posted you should find any game you need there. For neogeo stuff you also want the file called "neogeo.zip".
Imagine being this mad you can't do simple inputs.
Ah alright. I'll probably set it up tomorrow when I have free time then.
Thank you user!
it's literally just one autistic furfag
UNICLR, the one thing I'm currently struggling with is just hitting combos, and knowing when it's "my turn"
cvs2
you aren't missing much
Dragonball in Season 3 feels like a completely different game. Since Corona-Chan is letting me stay home for the next month or so, I'm totally revising my team.
Nice, team and groove? I fuck around with a bunch of characters in K groove because I'm too casual for roll canceling, though coming from SamSho I do like it.
I know, but I still want to have some fun with it.
How do I make myself get into fighting games?
benimaru, rock, and rugal on n
You play them and when you feel like you suck you keep playing them anyway.
What helped me get into them, is find friends who are already in it.
Luckily I was already part of a friendgroup that liked fighting games, so playing constantly with them and having fun was enough to peak my interest enough to get more serious about it.
If you lack the friendgroup, I'm sure there are tons of fighting discords places you can visit to make some.
Do you like fighting games enough to not mind losing while learning?
Lancelot in gbfv
Is SFV still considered shit? Looking at it or Granblue for starting fighting games.
I think sfv is better to start with, since it doesn't contain super big and complex combos like anime fighters. Sf is more about fundamentals and learning to predict, with 3-4 move combos at most.
Most of what you'd learn in sf will carry over to other fighting games (spacing, defending, etc etc)
shit that will never happen vs another player for 1000
SFV has definitely improved since its launch.
Working on getting my tiger knee combos down pat with my C Wallachia in Melty Blood. Practicing on both keyboard and stick has messed me up a bit
"Learning" is a bit too generous.
I'm just pressing buttons online with Narmaya and getting ass-blasted
How's sc6 doing these days? I played a tiny bit and enjoyed it, and I heard season 2 improved the game. But I almost never hear about it or see tourney stuff outside things like nlbc
sfv. stuck in silver lol
