Which boss was the biggest roadblock for you?
Which boss was the biggest roadblock for you?
The worst boss of the entire series. The exclusivity boss.
my boss who fired me because I told him the job wasn't for me and I want to be transferred to a different department. Fuck that nigga.
Ebrietas and her fucking.
The dog in fire for the chalice dungeon.
that one on the fucking roof of cainhurst
was about the only boss in the game you had to actually run back to like and old souls games where the risk of dying along the way (especially when mad cuz bad) was higher than the actual fucking boss fight
reminded me of king allant from demon souls
Orphan of Kos, Blood-starved beast and the fire Clearic beast.
Darkbeast Paarl, DPS check that I didn't realize and he definitely killed me more than anyone else
I never heard of this game. Is it good?
No, it's shit.
I died most to Ebrietas but somehow beat Orphan on my second try at level 80 without knowing anything about how to dodge his stuff. Maria was also so easy to parry that I one shot her and was disappointed.
gascoine died 7 times REEEEEEE
Blood-starved Beast on my first playthrough, Orphan of Kos on every other playthrough.
I still kinda get anxiety when I fight BSB even though it's way easier after knowing how to fight him.
unironically the cleric beast. took me significantly longer to beat than any other boss
Rom, 4 playthroughs and im still not sure what the developers intended for the player to do. spam attacks and get lucky i guess
That fucking fire Watchdog thing fuck it to hell
The hitbox on her charge is horseshit.
Headless bloodletting beast. Literally the only fucking reason that boss is hard at all is because you fight him in a cramped room that's constantly fucking with the camera. Not even if you had more space to fight him in would he be easier, it's just the fact that you can't turn the camera properly when you're so close to a wall.
Rom, gherman, the one reborn[\spoiler]
2nd undead giant from the Chalice dungeons (the one bastard with the chains on his back that he swings) is the only boss that took me more than 2-3 tries to beat. Fucker made me run out of blood vials and I had to farm twice and made me rage as much as Sekiro sub-bosses.
Spamming r1 until the stamina bar drained was really tough
Rom or the undead giant that swings the chain ball around and stamps on you. That shit isn’t even balanced at all damage wise. Just straight up one hits
Micolash has the most kills on me out of all playthroughs.
Alternatively, which bosses did you steamroll the first time? For me it was Cleric Beast and Papa G
Paarl fucked me up pretty bad my first playthrough
>getting roadblocked in BB
You must fucking suck.
Cope
Laurence and ludwig
I honestly didn't find any versions of amygdala hard at all. The chalice version is a little more aggressive but I actually one shot the nightmare plain version. I think I just got lucky and figured out the pattern on my first try.
I still can't beat Laurence on ng+ to this day. It's why I still haven't beat the dlc.
Probably blood starved beast. It's at that point in the game where you're still pretty fresh but the difficulty is starting to be cranked up.
Logarius. Fuck that teleporting asshole and his edges that are too easy to roll off of.
The first time through rom walled me hard. For subsequent playthroughs it was logarius.
Orphan of Kos is the worst for me, followed by Laurence.
Gascoigne fucking wrecked my shit comically bad, and I had played all the previous DS games. It must had been at least 7 tries until I got the fucker
What's weird is the rest of the game was EZ after that, no boss took me more than two tries, BSB included which I thought was the easiest in the game by far
So Gascan did his job well, since his entire purpose was to teach you how the game works and how you are supposed to fight bosses.
Martyr Logarius and The Orphan are the only truly rage inducing bosses in that game
Witch I one shot, but pretty sure a lot of people did. Reborn I killed 2nd attempt, without even knowing you could kill the fuckers shooting fire around the arena, not even really sure how that happened. Laurence I one shot, not really sure how I did that either. I just kept swinging and he didn't really do anything. I'm guessing I just got a really lucky attack pattern.
Was one of my favorite bosses desu ne
Logarius becomes piss easy once you learn to bait his ranged attacks or his leap and just go for hit and run tactics.
>spic dies to el grande padre
I got fucking gud on Logarius that's for sure
I one-shotted Maria, it wasn't even close either. I may have even taken no damage. I parried her every single time she attacked me and I was specced into heavy visceral attack
but i dont speak taco
Maria, she was pathetically easy to parry. I couldn't believe how easy it was after she had been hyped so much.
Ebrietas. Fuck those hitboxes.
Father G. After beating him, the rest of the game is piss easy
Rom, but I also wasn't a retard and actually killed most of the spiders
Works both ways, you can just wedge yourself under her and she can't do shit.
I some fucking how beat Ludwig my first try but now every time I fight him I cant even reach his 2nd phase
I kept messing up the timing of the lasers and getting one-shot. Sticking close was definitely the key though.
Orphan. I beat my head against that fight for hours. Didn't help that I assumed you could only walk on the beach.
>somehow beat Orphan on my second try at level 80 without knowing anything about how to dodge his stuff
Base Game: Ebreitas
DLC: Orphan
>Level 80
Well I should fucking hope so, I beat game at lower than level 80.
I never touched the DLC because back then it came out too late and I had already moved on. In that sense I'd actually go with Rom, felt like a retard once I figured out how easy that actually was.
I can see Rom's magic fucking people up the first time if they go in blind. For some reason, the chalice dungeon version is way harder for me.
Anyway, the hardest main game boss for me was Laurence, the First Vicar. The hardest CD boss was defiled hotdog. Seriously fuck that charge hitbox.
Amygdala, to be fair it was the first time I ever got to use the cannon but I almost one shot the poor fucker. Also killed blood starved beast first time as all you gotta do is stick to the left side of it and you block all its attacks
The Spider asshole was the hardest.
Mystery Niggas were the easiest by far
Pthumerian Descendant, and even he only took four tries to nail his parries consistently, plus I was very green when I began tackling chalices. Fucker strikes like lightning close up. Outside of dungeons, probably Gehrman.
A few of them, but Mystery Niggas particularly so. First attempt was damageless and with virtually no parry abuse. One of the few times I ever felt genuinely bad for a boss, let alone three at once, lmao
The first one, I can't beat it, I bought the game with the DLC but I wasn't able to beat the first boss at the bridge.
Maybe sucks but I finished many games at the hardest difficulty like the entire uncharted series so I dunno.
The framerate
Souls games require an entirely different skill set than uncharted
The giant slug I think it was called abrietas? It was easy as shit I didn’t get the difficulty everyone had with it at all
Orphan of Kos I beat every single boss except this piece of shit I can’t figure the second phase at all
shadows of yharnam
those fuckers always get me everytime i playthrough it
It's always fucking Rom
Ebrietas, you mean. Her charge is very sudden and for many hard to dodge.
now just repeat this with pthumerian elder and you can call it elder abuse
Would that even work? He usually just teleports around and the only thing that can stop the teleport is a backstab
Unironically: Cleric Beast because of the tiny bridge and the garbage camera for that fight.
No, that's PRETTY ironic. I refuse to believe someone is this bad.
I still haven't beaten Ludwig.
