are you enjoying the game lads?
NIOH 2
ye
i wish shifting wasn't shit tho, living weapon was absurdly broken but this one barely lasts and it takes ages to charge up.
No, I'm waiting for it to hit PC.
It's shit.
Yeah about to finish the third region. Pretty fun so far, just wish they'd stop putting Enkis everywhere. Tired of seeing that fucker.
why?
Because PC is my platform of choice.
I do own a PS4 and only bought the original there because I thought it would be a PS4 exclusive. Now I'll just wait for the PC version.
This.
I'm glad it turned out well though.
If you're having difficulty against:
Enenra:
Remember that there are pillars on each side of the arena that hold up water jugs. If you get Enenra to break them, they each do tons of ki damage on Enenra.
Yatsu No Kami:
Lock onto the body, not the head, unless you want the camera to fuck you over. Do not just attack his body or head. Always aim your attacks at his hands. Your goal is to make sure he never has hands throughout the fight. If he doesn't have hands, he can't go into the Dark Realm. High Stance attacks typically are good at hitting the hands.
Kamaitachi:
Remember that you can block his sonic spin attack without suffering any chip damage. Don't be scared by the stamina loss. He has no follows up that can fuck you over after that attack. A safe time to attack him is immediately after he creates a small ground tornado with his tail.
Good luck anons! You can do it!
Not really
Obsidian Samurai unlocks an actual parry for the Axe if you get the drop.
Right
Proofs?
I'm autistically finishing every mission on every difficulty in nioh 1 so I won't play this yet even though I bought it. Just curious on how long this is? 6 regions with similar length to the original? Do they reuse areas for side missions again? Not talking main missions but the other optional ones like the shrine that was used for 5-6 different missions across all regions in nioh 1.
>doing the big zoomies through the maps
>dabbing on demons
>tfw being a total floss boss rn
Yep, this. Will be glad to play it at 1440 60 fps unlike my base ps4 which would only do 60 720 and would make me puke. Gonna be nice to have DLC and stuff presumably too
It's called Spirit Storm, you can fight him in the third region in a duel in the dojo. Sorry but I'm not screenshotting my game to prove something that will take you five minutes to get.
What weapons are you using? For me it's the dual hatchets because they feel like the dual katanas except you can also throw them.
Maining Odachi but also using the dual hatchets as well. I love how feral and wild the moveset is once you begin unlocking all the skills.
I'm mostly using the glaive because I'm not a contrarian, and it's pretty fun. I also have tonfas which I only really use on humans.
>Still haven't unlocked Wolf's Rage, let alone anything that actually changes the base moveset yet
I hate this.
They are reusing main mission areas for side missions yeah. Nine side missions in the second region, five of those refuse a previous level. First region has six side missions and four reuse a previous level.
Odachi and tonfa for me. Really like the moveset for tonfa, and the odachi ungabunga.
didn't even realize it came out
For people who have gotten further along in the game, is there a side mission where you can fight and practice against Yoshimoto without needing to do an entire level just to get to him?
I love fighting him, but I would hate to restart the entire story mission each time I want to practice him.
She's cute. Mind sharing the code?
There's a side mission yeah but it'll be a short run to him.
Hey, that's pretty good.
Thank you kindly. She actually looks like a human being unlike a lot of the female characters that have been shared in these threads.
short
>unlock a new hut background (samurai)
>move into it
>immediately move back to the old one because it's comfier and cozier
theres room for improvement here but its a start
Tonfa and Dual Hatchets. I like the Hatchets, but I don't have access to a lot of interesting moves yet so I'm using Tonfa more.
Is Yoshitatsu a male if you play as one? Does Yoshitatsu look exactly like you no matter what you made? Are we related to princess Noh?
Waiting for the PC release.
Yoshitatsu is a copy of your character, so yes
>Are we related to princess Noh?
yes, shes your half sister
BROWN
>Get to the Honda Tdakatsu duel
>He one shots me with all his attacks
haha
Which boss did you get it from and how many tries until it dropped?
The 3 anima grapples are from Yoshitatsu
Remember that the Odachi can parry yokai attacks. Have fun.
>message Amazon support asking where my pre-order bonus code is since I never got it
>they tell me it'll be 24 hrs
>24hrs later, still no code
But why tho. Literally no other retailer on Earth would get away with this so why does Amazon get a free pass? This is the 4th time in 5 years Amazon has done this to me (so pretty much every single time). I remember thinking I was smart for ditching GameStop permanently and switching to online but now I'm not so sure anymore.
inb4 someone rightfully calls me a retard for pre-ordering.
bitch about it enough and they'll probably do something to try to appease you, maybe even refunding your money but letting you keep it if you cry hard enough. I've heard that works some times.
Thank you.
Yeah I've been playing it for the past 20 hours straight.
>he thinks the world won't be over by November
lole
best buy sent me the code like 3 days before the game even came out, amazon is retarded
Same here, but the longest I've gone is 13 hours. This game has seriously been fucking up my sleep schedule, but that's fine since I work at least 40 hours a week just wage slaving, I pretty much already am wasting my life away.
>Dosan dies in a cutscene
>side missions that unlock afterward reference him as if he's still alive
>one is literally given by him
????
I don't think the unlock of missions is ever chronologically consistent. In Nioh 1, you don't unlock the Hanzo/Okatsu dual boss fight in the Iga Clan arena until after you beat the main story and by that point William has already left Japan.
>men
I mean japan always does things better, but that doesn't make it OK.
if that's true I guess I'm gay now
Post code
I never understood how to do that parry-overpower drop shit on a blocking enemy. It's so fucking annoying when human enemies do nothing but block with ridiculous amounts of ki and ki regen.
>mfw im using odachi and prefer when they block because i can procede to rape their ki for free
Assuming you've already bought the skill on hatchets, what you do is immediately press triangle (mid and low stance only) as soon as your attack bounces of of a blocking opponent.
>as soon as your attack bounces of of a blocking opponent
A weak or strong attack? Does it matter? Also, is it the same for 1kat? I thought you had to hold L1 in order to pull this skill off.
Thought it was just me. I barely get to use it and it lasts loke 5 seconds. Was hoping by endgame it would be longer.
Well, that's a whole different skill then.
For hatchets, you have to press triangle when your attack bounces the enemy. The skill you need to buy is Wolf's Rage.
For sword, you press L1 to block exactly the moment an attack is about to hit you. Doing this successfully deflects the enemy's attack, and when this happens IMMEDIATELY press L1 again to push the enemy down. The skills you purchase to do this are Backwave 1, Backwave 2 and Tempest.
For Odachi, you have to have the Charging Bull attack and have the attack deplete an enemy's stamina.
>Unlock end of combo kick for big ki damage
>Every enemy drops their guard after the last hit and just tanks the kick for free
you faggots
Fuck, this shit is so confusing man. I don't care that much about axes, but apparently there's two ways to do that move with a Sword?
1) L1 block an attack with correct timing -> attack until you deplete enemy stamina/guard break -> L1 (tempest)
2) L1 block an attack with correct timing -> L1 (backwave II)
How about Odachi? I liked that bigass sword.
