Is Digimon any good?

The only good game is Digimon World on the psx. Everything else is mediocre and not worth your time, especially Cyber Sleuth which gets recommended a lot but has nothing going for it

Other than being an autistic and obsessive fan, there's no real reason to play any other Digimon games.

Everything else is either very mediocre (DS Story titles), just plain awful (Digimon World 4) or forgotten about entirely by literally everyone including you (Digimon Savers)

its biggest flaw is that it had a completely unique gameplay loop and did an abysmal job of explaining it. instead they expected people to spend extra on strategy guides.

i owned the strategy guide and it didn't help. it omitted things like how to learn abilities, beetle island, required stats for some ultimates and machinedramon round 2
