I don't fucking get it. What is the appeal of gacha games anyway? You could just look up porn instead.
You don't play these games for fun or because they're engaging, but because you just want to jerk off and that's the only reason anyone "plays" these games.
How is this an acceptable genre in any way, especially since walking sims and games with an emphasis on story are getting insulted as "movie games".

Arknights is surprisingly generous to F2P players and worth checking out if you like tower defense. It basically makes towers characters that can be upgrade etc.

no. the gameplay of these games is always terrible because most of it is grinding to get resources so you can play the game normally until you need to grind again.

they're best enjoyed by browsing the wiki and looking up art of the characters you like and maybe drawing your own art, or playing spin off games, or watching the animes or whatever else comes from the IP that is actually enjoyable.

What rank are you? Casually coasting around diamond 1 & crystal 3 myself, sometimes im almost putted to diamond 2 though.

I have tried the following, these are my opinions on them.

>Summoners War
Rare characters are actually fucking rare, gameplay is basic and will usually be set on auto, grindy as fuck the strongest characters will require inhumane amounts of grinding and RNG, good character design and style tho.
>Dokkan Battle
F2P friendly, very flexible on the gacha and strong f2p characters, not grindy except for f2p LRs, good animations that only improve each year, many useful characters, great music.
>Azur Lane
Cute waifus, there are lolis and cows, waifus for everyone, extremely relaxed on the gacha you won't have problems pulling/rolling for characters, auto combat for grinding, albeit only on lower difficulties, many cute events and details everywhere to see the waifus doing stuff, the "energy" system is non existent because they will give you so much fucking oil you won't ever run out of it unless you are doing some serious autistic grinding.
>Dragon Quest of the Stars
Nice classic dragon quest style and characters, seemingly simple combat that is actually fun and fast paced, simple character creation with good outfit customization, online mode is fun.
