I want to buy the black one since it goes with everything like Playstation, Nintendo, and PC.
But what fucking idiot decided to put black letters on a black controller?

The rest of the colors are ugly.
The one you posted is ugly.
The SNES one doesn;t have a grey circle around the buttons.
And they don't sell a Super Famicon colors one, yet.
I know you can put Snes/Super Famicon buttons in it though.

But black is also best because it doesn't show dirt and yellowing.
I almost would put Super Famicon buttons in a black one, but rainbow buttons with a black controller would look stupid.

I have the same controller and it works really well, I love it.
It cost me 37€, shipping included, it's fine.

It comes with a Li-Ion pack that you can take out and replace with AAs as an option.

They got hit with a warning from Nintendo to not use the Super Famicom colors which is why they stopped doing it after the original SF30 Pro

AA's are the superior battery because you never need to worry about replacing an internal one.

Rechargeable AA's and a Xbox Elite controller (Series 1) is the ultimate in gaming performance and comfort.

Anything? The sn30 pro was the biggest waste of money I've experienced. The d pad was so bad any 2d game was unplayable. I had to take it apart and fiddle around with stickers over the d pad a dozen times in order to get to be merely acceptable. Still not good.

You're better off just getting a mayflash USB adapter and using a DS4 or Wii U pro controller.

The d pad of 8bitdo controllers is designed after the switch pro controllers. They have exactly the same problems. I guarantee you the people that say 8bitdo controllers are good never use the dpad for anything beyond menus.

I've had the fc30pro for a few years now., I'd say it's pretty decent, but to be honest I barely use it as I play most games on the analog stick. It's pretty loud (but so are the other face buttons), and it's clicky and snaps back quickly, I guess.

I have both and the 8bitdo's dpad is definitely much better
I played MM11 on it just fine

The SN30 Pro and other older SNES clones have a weak dpad.
The SN30 Pro+ (the newest one with handles) fixed the issue and is good out of the box.
In the former's case, you can open up the controller and fix the pad's issue yourself by stuffing a bit of material to give needed padding to the four directions.
