How well does Kiwami 2 run on PC? 0 and Kiwami 1 ran fine on my pc but all i have is an i5 4690k and a gtx 1060.

Run like ass due to the new shiny new effects. About 50-60fps at 1440p on my 1070/7600K. If I set the render resolution to 90% + applying a sharpening filter (either through reshade or Nvidia setting) I can stay above 60fps most of the time and the game still looks nearly as good as full render resolution.

Do you guys rush through the story the first time then replay NG+ by doing all the side quests? Or do you do everything in one go?

Side quests first then story.

I didn't do Clan Creator, Cabaret Club Grand Prix, and only did like 15 side stories.

If I'm invested in the story then I do side shit in the postgame free roam.

They are virtually the same aside from the music. Which honestly doesn't speak to me much since I feel like it only comes across if you understand the lyrics.

If you do Clan Creator, you should also do the Colloseum. You can get a shit ton of high powered guys just by beating them there.

Why do people praise 2's story so much? Almost every twist was "I'm actually Korean lol"

Kek, if you put it this way. If nothing else it deserves an award just for that.

But it is mostly characters. Karou, Ryuji, Karasawa, were all pretty great and memorable for me. It also fleshes out Kiryu and Kazama's relationship a bit further and an insight into what sort of person Kazama was.

I hate how budget repackaged product the Kiwami games feel. Sure, reusing Kamurocho and Sotenbori is old hat, but K2 losing the full voice acting and K1 basically being 0 assets on top of 1's cutscene animations is all kinds of off.

I'm always hearing people shit on Kiwami 1 in here. How come? This is coming from a 0 newfag.

They're OP in the sense that you can put high tier parts on them due to the low cost. They're not OP in the sense that the times you need to hit on several courses require proper play and a mix of parts is better than all the best (Courses 3 and 7 if I remember right don't even use the high tier stuff, they use stuff that boost acceleration). I would argue they're not worth it in any way even if you're willing to burn your money. Plus, you can just buy the highest tier stuff and make them anyway and look at a guide for optimal parts, you only need like four million yen or so for that.

Majima Everywhere is annoying as sin even though the actual content isn't that bad and you can't turn it off, DoD is destroyed despite being Kiryu's main style (The person who thought needing Heat for Double Finishers deserves a slap upside the head), Kiwami healing for bosses is obnoxious, enemies knock you down at the slightest breeze (Though Kenzan's mooks stabbing you have them beat), and there's only like two bosses that actually have their original moveset or improvements to it, the rest just take bosses from various games (Specifically 3, 5, Ishin, and 0). It's not terrible but there's some bad decisions made in a lot of places.
