it's hot fucking garbage. also square did not develop it. it's basically press x to trigger new cutscene game. there's a gameplay of it on yt and the guy just presses 1 button, he never even gets hit, just presses x to trigger one of those god of war oooh muh epic attack animation launching enemy to somewhere. i also wouldn't be surprised if it's not open world.

I thought western action games couldn't be more unsatisfying, but they managed to lower the standards even more.

Yes obviously. Theres stuff i like in dc and marvel but a lot i hate in both. However the genuine friendship and camaraderie that appears in the Justice League, coupled with tonnes more interesting characters in its roster just make it more engaging.

I'm not personally interested in the game because I don't like comic-related media but I don't get why people were so bothered by the E3 trailer. Obviously they can't the use the likelinesses of the their movie counterparts but I think they look fine, arguably more true to their comic book versions. And the cinematics and gameplay looked pretty good and reflective of what an Avengers game would be like so I don't understand the controversy.

Fuck yes. Been a Marvel comics fan since the early '90s and there are precious few good games. It looks "ok" at worst. I'm hoping it sells well enough that we get a similar X-men game down the road (story driven action segments; multiplayer stages for online play; start out in the X-mansion and move to Utopia as the story progresses; unlockable Jim Lee costumes).
