Rune Factory 4

I'm incredibly envious. I've tried bringing human and non-human buddies and I'm still getting my ass handed to me on the first floor. I've gotten a few recommendations of items to craft/craft with... The issue being they're all obtained in Rune Prada itself. Maybe I need to level grind as well.

Also there are rune flower/crystal everywhere. Just warp to autumm field, go up and you have like 8 chrystal

It's more efficient to use up HP and then eat food to recover everything. Problem is it the game doesn't show you how up much HP you'll lose, so it's easy to die accidentally.

I think the only absolute no go for me in the game was Tori. For as shallow as it may sound, her hand constantly being glued to her face was just so ugly looking.

So can you not enter the raccoon cave to get the sword/shield seeds until after Leon Karnak?

Well there really isn't much to go off of in this game, so you can't help but pick favorites based on petty stuff like that. Tori is cute, but the constant ellipses in her dialogue makes me imagine her with a creepy mouth-breather voice.

No, I'm pretty sure you just have to make sure to go there within the first 5 days of a month. After you do that once, you should be able to teleport there.

You can only get there within the first 5 days of any season.

But how do you get to sercerezo hill in act1 when it's not available until 2? Since that's where the cave is.

I just started and have no idea what I'm doing. I never got into Harvest Moon.
I accidentally gave my guard a spear and she's lost her sword. I don't know what to do with these villagers carrying stuff over their heads.

When they're walking around with items over head it doesn't really mean anything, it's just the villagers living their day to day life.

Why is the lava dungeon so fucking loooong? It's seemingly endless. I've spent like three in-game days in there.

I think it's because it's the last real dungeon for act 1 if i remember right. what comes after it is rather easy compared to it.

So this is a question for all you who excel at the forging/crafting/upgrading system. For short swords,I currently have Durendal and can craft Aerial Blade based on what items I currently possess. I have the forging skill to make almost everything, however I lack the raw materials (all in Rune Prada).

Given that most of the enemies in Rune Prada floor 1 seem immune to wind, should I even bother crafting the Aerial Blades? Or should I simply look at what I currently have in my possession to buff my Durendal?

Waiting for Act 2, trying to optimize the shit outta my farm with corn and chemicals. I think I've fallen behind on requests for new seeds a bit.

You can change a weapon's element by upgrading it with an elemental crystal. Only the damage values matter.

getting my shit kicked in by the last boss of act 2 on hell

so currently just having days pass while buying recipes for better gear and leveling up my crafting further

Is there anything i can do with duplicate spells or can i just sell them?

Good luck user, I took advantage of that forge/craft 14 broadswords/shifts and upgrade them to lv10 then make and upgrade one with 10 iron + the remaining mats mechanic to get a broadsword with 750 ATK and 650 M.ATK plus a shirt with 355 DEF and 350 M.DEF. The damage you take on hard mode up to that point is insane, then before I went to Leon Karnark I decided to unlock the winter field and I think I sequence broke through to the Sechs Empire already. I can only imagine the damage on Hell mode, jesus christ. I'll go clear Leon Karnak now.

In your opinion, is there an element that would be a safe bet for the first 2 levels of Rune Prada? I'd hate to move it to Earth or Dark and immediately have to upgrade/craft another one.

Do I have to have forging maxed out to do the crazy level 10 bonus things?

Just have your forging/crafting skill at level 50.

It could just be because I'm not that far into the game yet (just cleared the mansion) but the spear charge attack seems really fucking strong compared to all the other ones.

Almost forgot user, if you don't have any lv10 insect carapaces, the middle section leading to the tree that gives you one random tree seed once per day in the Obsidian Mansion is a good place to farm for it.

Can you use giantizer on trees if you plant the tress in a 2x2?

You can sell duplicate spells as you'll be able to unlock a magic vendor who'll sell you spells you've owned before with PP, you can also just buy a bookshelf to store them from Blossom. I shipped my duplicates for the increase in shipping rate.

Yeah, it's decent early on but falls off as time goes on. Enemies begin moving a lot more/spamming AoEs and it forces you to be a sitting duck.

On the bright side you can put each of the cooking tools anywhere you'd like, one in the field for example.

It does free up space. You can now destroy all but one of those tools.
