Ironically with Nitro-Fueled's mechanics, a max stats character would be inferior to the speed characters due to going at the same top speed, but not being able to drift as straight as Speed can, and Speed can use U-Turning to make up for any weakness in handling that Penta wouldn't

Drift is probably the closest thing we have to original PAL Penta stats. It's accel stat still sucks though.

it's accel does suck but accel is almost meaningless in CTR. Even in og ctr where Accel class was really good it wasn't even cause of the accel stat
